Above and beyond service

Since I don’t go out of the country very often at all, I was a little nervous about hiring a touring company. But even with a slight language barrier, they made the trip absolutely amazing. Our driver even had to help us with a minor emergency and was able to get us to a doctor quickly. And they continue to check on us all day. I believe that Mariana is the owner of the company and she is incredibly easy to work with. When we go back to Mexico City, we will definitely be calling on them again to either choose one of their tours or possibly get one customized for just us.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your comments! I love hearing Atl took very good care of you! We are all committed to offer the best of us in all our trips. Will be happy to have you as our guests next time!

Mexico City and Teotihuacán with Tekpan Tours

Mariana from Tekpan Tours is a fantastic tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about all the places we visited in Mexico City. She was prompt picking us up at our hotel and she was a safe and diligent driver. I really liked the white glove service when we went on our balloon ride to Teotihuacan. She made sure we arrived on time and she took many photos and videos of us. I really liked that she was at the balloon site video taping our ascent into the sky. That video was super cool to have. She also took us to some really great restaurants where the food was so delicious. Mariana really took care of us and she made sure we had the best time. I highly recommend Mariana and Tekpan Tours for your future Mexico City and Teotihuacán tours.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! Its my pleasure to share my City with you!

Magical experience

The balloon ride at sunrise gave us breathtaking views of the ancient city and surrounding landscapes – truly a magical way to start the day. After the flight, our private tour took us through the fascinating archaeological site, where our guide shared amazing insights about its history and significance. We also had the opportunity to visit a local artisan’s workshop, where we saw traditional crafts being made.

Response from the operator: Thank you Hunter! We are very happy to hear you had a full special experience in Teotihuacan. We appreciate your comment, your opinion give other travelers an idea of what to expect from this tour.

Response from the operator: El vuelo en globo es sin duda una de las experiencias mas inolvidables para disfrutar en Teotihuacan, el recorrido privado de la mano de Pepe sin duda lo hace unico. Gracias por confiar en Tekpan.

Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide cost?

+

Prices start at $400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Teotihuacan Shared Hot Air Balloon Air Balloon Tour with Guide start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
