Family Tour of Teotihuacan
We booked this tour at the last minute based on the positive reviews. My family had a great guide, Ari, and a friendly driver, Michel, to take us to Teotihuacan. It was a fun, informative tour from the moment we hopped in the car. Ari told us about Mexico City's neighborhoods (on the way to getting some morning pastries and coffee), the different cultures and traditions on the drive to Teotihuacan, and the detailed history of the pyramids when we were at the site. There was a lot of walking, but everything was well-paced and Ari was quite flexible with us as well. An experience not to be missed -- thank you!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Steven and Brandon! 😊 It was such a pleasure having you both, and I’m so happy you had a great experience with Ari and Michel. I’ll definitely share your kind words with them. Thank you for choosing us, and I hope this father-and-son trip becomes a great memory for both of you. We’d love to welcome you back to Mexico someday! 🇲🇽

Mexico 2026
Had so much fun was such a beautiful experience. We had a great guide who got us good deals and was very knowledgeable about the city. Our Spanish wasn't great, so it was very helpful that he was bilingual. We had so much fun and took so many pictures with the statues and buildings and saw a lot of beautiful churches.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you. You were such wonderful people, and honestly, guests like you make my job even more enjoyable. 😊 I’m really happy you had a great time, learned a little more about Mexico, and took some beautiful memories home with you. I hope our paths cross again someday — there’s always more of Mexico to discover! 🇲🇽❤️

Such a great tour!
We had such a great time! Hermes took us all over Mexico City and taught us all about its history. He knew everything and everyone. You can tell he’s passionate about history and also makes sure you get to see everything you want. He knows the best spots too, whether it’s for tacos, churros, or souvenirs!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful review! ❤️ I truly enjoyed spending the day with you guys. By the end of the tour, it honestly felt less like I was your guide and more like an uncle showing his nieces around Mexico City. 😊 I’m so happy you enjoyed the history, the places we visited, and of course the tacos and churros! It was a very special day for me too. Take care of yourselves, keep traveling, and remember you’ll always have a friend — or your Mexican uncle Hermes 😂🇲🇽 — waiting for you here in Mexico!

Best Tour Anywhere, Ever!
Bruno and Kevin were so hospitable, offering so much fascinating information about the area while we were driving. They took care to make sure everyone had water and other needs met. At one point I fell and seriously hurt my knee, so Kevin drove us to a pharmacy and then tended to my wound. Somehow, Bruno kept the tour on time and fun for everyone!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It means a lot to our team that Bruno and Kevin were able to make your day enjoyable, even with the unexpected situation. We hope your knee is feeling much better now. It was a pleasure having you with us.

Comfort, quiet temples and a very informative tour
We had a wonderful time on this tour. It was so convenient to have a central pick up point, stop for a coffee and pastry and then have a comfortable ride to Teotihuacan. We heard a bit about the greater Mexico City area on the way. It was great to show up to the site at opening time because it was quiet and cool. We also got to visit a lesser known site to see more about how people lived. Gio was so knowledgeable. Not only did he share a lot of context and information about what we were seeing, but he also shared information about the history and currently challenges related to uncovering the temples. He clearly has a deep wealth of knowledge because he also shared the wider context of Mesoamerican history and archaeology and answered many questions. I couldn’t recommend this tour more.
Response from the operator: you so much for your wonderful review! It means a lot to hear that you enjoyed the early access experience and all the little details that make this tour special. I’ll be sure to share your kind words with Giovanny—he’ll be thrilled to know he helped make your visit memorable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Mexico someday! 🇲🇽

Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Teotihuacan Sunrise Tour from Mexico City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
