We had an amazing experience on this tour and would highly recommend it. A special thank you to Daza, who was an excellent guide throughout the entire excursion. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and he explained everything clearly. He made the tour enjoyable from start to finish and was always available to answer questions and help whenever needed. The scenery and overall organization of the tour were fantastic, and Daza’s enthusiasm and positive attitude made the experience even better. Thank you for a wonderful day and for helping make our visit so memorable!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on this tour from start to finish. The whole evening was really well organised and we felt genuinely looked after throughout. A big highlight for us was how accommodating the team were with our gluten-free requirements – everything was handled perfectly and without any fuss, which made a huge difference and let us just relax and enjoy it. The sunset, the setting, and the stargazing all felt pretty surreal – one of those “wow” moments you don’t forget in a hurry. You can see why these experiences are often described as a highlight of people’s trips to Tenerife, and we’d completely agree. Overall, an unforgettable experience and something we’d 100% recommend to anyone visiting the island.

Flexible, breathtaking and perfectly organized again!
This trip to Mount Teide with sunset was my second experience with Magec Tours, and again everything was top arranged. Due to the absence of the astronomer, the trip has been adjusted in consultation: first a visit to Orotava and then on to Mount Teide. How nice that they were so flexible and didn't have to cancel the trip! Our driver and guide knew exactly where to stop for the most beautiful views of Mount Teide. The playlist was again perfectly attuned to the atmosphere, and the snack pack was again a nice surprise. The sunset on Mount Teide was magical – an experience I won’t soon forget. If you want to see Mount Teide and experience the sunset, this is highly recommended!

Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing cost?
+
Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Teide Volcanic Sunset with Dinner and Stargazing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
