Amazing food tour of Istanbul. Highly recommend! .
Enjoyed a fantastic 4.5 hour walking food tour of Istanbul! Our guide, Serkan Elbasan, was wonderful. He provided an overview of the city and its history while we enjoyed amazing local foods (and generous portions!). Starting with a delicious breakfast, the stops just kept getting better. A nice bonus was the ferry ride to & from the Asian continent. Beautiful day to be on the water and exploring. The restaurants were varied and gave us an opportunity to try foods we likely would have never tried on our own. Serkan helped us select appropriate food items for my son (who has a peanut allergy); we are grateful for his oversight to ensure my son had a great time. We definitely left our tour much more knowledge about Istanbul and also quite full!! Tip: come hungry!!

A must do in Istanbul!
Suleyman was the best guide!! He gave us so much history, fun facts, great eats, and laughs on this 5 hour food tour. He began our tour with a great breakfast spread! He knew we wanted to try some baklava so he added in a special stop - we really appreciated him modifying the tour to make this even more special for us. We then went to 4 additional places, then the spice bazaar, and finally a soup spot that came to be our top dish of the day! Every single place was different, tasty, and accompanied with some Turkish tea of course. Thank you to Suleyman for a wonderful day in Istanbul, you made this tour so amazing. Highly highly recommend.

Istanbul Food Tour
How often can you say “ I dined in Europe and Asia today”? This was truly an epic gastronomic experience you can’t miss if you are visiting Istanbul. Our guide Ervil the Great did an amazing job showcasing Turkish cuisine in 8 stops from traditional Turkish breakfast to Kunefe and Turkish coffeee. The boat ride was a plus too. Wish we brought simit to feed the seagulls!

Excellent food tour in Istanbul!
We had a very enjoyable time with our guide Ismain. He introduced us to many of the local treats of Istanbul. Before each stop, he asked about our preferences to insure we were happy with the choices. We had some delicious foods that we would have never had on our own. He gave us a lot of information about the city and took us in one beautiful mosque. All of our questions were answered clearly. Our group consisted of just two which added to our excellent experience. We both highly recommend this tour.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry cost?
+
Prices start at $98 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Taste of Two Continents: Istanbul Food Tour with Bosphorus Ferry start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
