Fun, unusual, but not quite what I expected
I have been visiting St. Augustine since I was a kid and have done many of the historical and ghost tours, so when I saw a Tarot Tour advertised as a blend of sightseeing, history, and personalized Tarot/Oracle readings, I was genuinely excited. The concept sounded like something different from the usual tour. There were some definite positives. We brought our retired service dog, and the company was wonderful about accommodating him. We also had severe Florida weather that day, with lightning and heavy rain, and our guide kept us updated as the tour was pushed back for safety. When it became clear the weather was not going to cooperate, they worked with us to make the tour happen. The tour itself was… extremely unusual. Our guide incorporated his own approach to astrology and used a deck of his own creation for the readings. We visited several locations around St. Augustine and received multi-card readings at each stop. The readings themselves were enjoyable, and we genuinely had fun with the experience. Where I think the description could be clearer is in setting expectations. I expected the Tarot reading to be more directly connected to the locations we visited and the history we learned about the city. Instead, the tour leaned much more heavily into the guide’s personal interpretations of astrology, spirituality, and St. Augustine history. Some of the historical commentary was unconventional enough that I would describe this as a mystical experience inspired by St. Augustine rather than a traditional historical tour with Tarot incorporated into it. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In fact, the unusual nature of the tour made it memorable. I just think prospective guests should know what they are signing up for. At roughly $175 for up to seven people , it is an inexpensive experience, so I would recommend making the description more explicit about the format and what the Tarot portion actually entails. We laughed, saw some interesting places, got some surprisingly thoughtful readings, and came away with a very memorable story. I just wouldn’t book this expecting a conventional historical tour where the cards determine your itinerary. If you want something genuinely strange, personal, and outside the usual St. Augustine tourist experience, this may be exactly what you’re looking for.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review! 🐼💜 We’re so glad we were able to accommodate your retired service dog and work around the unpredictable Florida weather so that you could still have your experience safely. We’re also happy to hear that you enjoyed the readings, had fun, and came away with some memorable moments! We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the tour description and expectations. The Oracle of St. Augustine Tarot Tour is intended to be a unique, mystical experience that combines sightseeing, elements of St. Augustine’s history, spirituality, and personalized Tarot and Oracle readings rather than a traditional historical tour. Your perspective is very helpful, and we will take another look at our description to make sure that distinction and the format of the experience are as clear as possible for future guests. Thank you again for choosing Panda Tours and for approaching such an unusual experience with an open mind and a sense of adventure! We love that you described it as “genuinely strange, personal, and outside the usual St. Augustine tourist experience”—that’s certainly a memorable way to experience the Ancient City! 🔮✨🐼

Amazing experience! Worth the time
It was amazing! They knew things about us that we didn't tell them. It was very positive and they hit a long neat historic sites.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so glad you had such a positive experience and enjoyed both the messages and the historic sites along the way. It was a joy to share the tour with you, and we hope to see you again in the future!

Oracle Tour
Although it was billed as a Tarot Tour it was actually an oracle card tour. We enjoyed being driven around the city in a golf cart, saw sites we'd not seen before and learned new things too. Manda was very friendly and knowledgeable. All 3 of us got a past, present and future reading which seemed pretty accurate. Appreciated Manda picking us up at a local restaurant.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We’re so glad you enjoyed the ride, discovered new sights around the city, and had a great time with Manda—she’ll be happy to hear your kind words. While the tour uses oracle cards rather than traditional tarot, we’re glad the readings resonated with each of you and added something special to the experience. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again for another unique adventure!

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tarot Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Augustine.
How much does Tarot Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Augustine usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tarot Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Augustine is not rushed.
Is Tarot Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St Augustine, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tarot Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tarot Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tarot Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Augustine can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Augustine and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tarot Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Augustine within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in St Augustine?
+
St Augustine is walkable history: Castillo de San Marcos, Spanish quarter walking tours, trolley loops, lighthouse climbs and some of the best-attended ghost tours in the country. Guide storytelling quality is the main variable. On Outty we rank every St Augustine experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Medieval Torture Museum with Ghost Hunting and Tiny Art Gallery, St. Augustine's Wine, Cocktail and Food Experience, Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure of St. Augustine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit St Augustine?
+
February to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in St Augustine?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
