About this experience
We want people realize there is no need to take Dolphins freedom away to interact with them. The whole trip experience is about we, the humans, adapting ourselves to nature. Top of the World Experience: Traveling along with The Dolphin Pod using the Paddle Boards is simply amazing, the connection created with them makes you feel a sense of freedom never experienced before. We will Be able to really understand their behavior: 1. When finding a Pod, we will realize there are several sub group members of the same pod but distributed in a radio area of more than 300 meters. At certain direction we can see The juveniles breaching out of the water, in another, mothers and calfs swimming togueter and finally, the Alfa Dolphins which take care of the Pod are observing us making sure we are not a threat for the Pod. 2. Protective Behavior of Dolphins with New born baby Whales Is very common to find groups of dolphins floating nearby Humpbach whale and its calves.

Magical
The experience was straight up magical. I cannot express enough what a peaceful and surreal morning we had. Both my boys are already talking about coming back next year during whale season so we can watch both whales and dolphins next time. I recommend this tour a thousand times.
Response from the operator: Dear Angela, good dat We are really glad your family spend a great day with Wild Dolphins. Thanks for trusting our company.

Didn’t work for our group!
Our party of 4 reserved, card was charged immediately… then no confirmation received for several days. My husband finally made contact and was told they wouldn’t confirm until they had more people. That was not what the site said when booking… and certainly does not make us feel good about the company. They did end up cancelling our tour… yet I see it is still advertised and allowing bookings for the same date and time….????? Seems very poor business practice…..
Response from the operator: Dear guest, Im not sure if theres a mistake. I havent canceled any Tour. Could you please let me know for which date was scheduled your booking...?

Great Experience
We booked a private tour for six of us - lovely time. We had lots of views of whales and dolphins. Swimming in the middle of the pacific was a real thrill.

Amazing experience....
Amazing experience. Eduardo was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We found several pods and were able to get very close to them with paddle boards.

Wild Dolphins!!
If you love dolphins, this is the trip for you. Swimming with wild dolphins is a rare and special experience. Eduardo has great respect for these wild, beautiful, intelligent animals, and he helps his guests have this fantastic experience while making sure the dolphins are interested in us. We swam in the ocean for most of our interaction, and the dolphins swam around us in circles checking us out. You may also choose to use the paddle boards he provides. We would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to do something “off the beaten path” and have amazing memories for a lifetime.
Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thanks for sharing your Review about what really is about these incredible Experience. Thanks to your comments Future Guests Will have a much better understanding about what to expect in these unique Experience.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.
How much does Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta cost?
+
Prices start at $112 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.
Is Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Swim and Paddle Board with Wild Dolphin Pods in Puerto Vallarta start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Signature Taco Tour in PV with Vallarta Eats, Food & Mixology Tour:Tequila,Tacos, Mezcal and Agave Cocktails. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
