What you get

    About this experience

5-days hiking tour to Svaneti is a good combination of outdoor activities with cultural sightseeing. We visit all major destinations in Svaneti and take small hiking trips into the wild nature.  A unique blend of mountains scenery and local traditional architecture and traditions creates a majestic fairy-tale for visitors.  Svaneti region is probably the most beautiful places in Georgia, and a hike in Svaneti is the vacation of a lifetime. Crowning Georgia’s northern border, Svaneti is a truly majestic place where vivid green alpine meadows nestle against vast forest areas and snow-covered mountains. Here is located one of the highest peaks of Caucasus mountains (Shkhara 5,201 m; Janga 5,059m), medieval-type villages and tower-houses.  This tour is for visitors wanting to relax in the wild nature but also not to take long and difficult outdoor activities.

    Great experience in the Caucasus!

We did a 5 days trekking tour in svaneti - private for 2 - and it was way better than expected ! Although we had some rainy moments, the weather in the mountais change quickly, and the sun also showed itself permiting great times and pics! The acomodattions in Mestia were new and wonderful, with great shower, bed and even a incredible view to the river and mountains. Our guide Dito was polite and very professional, being able to choose the best hike accordingly with the weather and our hikking expertise (or lack of it) - so we had a great time! Last but not least, the food was wonderfull and included - their prices may be higher then other options, but in my opinion it was totally worth it! Tks TrekGeorgia!

Response from the operator: Hi Luiza, Thanks so much for the great review! We're really glad you enjoyed your 5-day trek in Svaneti, even with a bit of rain. Sounds like you made the most of the sunny breaks and got some great views and photos! Dito will be happy to hear your kind words — he always tries to match the hikes to everyone’s pace and the weather. And yes, the food and those mountain views are hard to beat! Hope to see you again for another adventure. Best, The TrekGeorgia Team

Svaneti Hiking Paradise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.

How much does Svaneti Hiking Paradise cost?

    +

Prices start at $1030 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Svaneti Hiking Paradise take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.

Is Svaneti Hiking Paradise worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Svaneti Hiking Paradise?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Svaneti Hiking Paradise suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Svaneti Hiking Paradise?

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Svaneti Hiking Paradise start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tbilisi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
