Then a 30-minitue drive will take you to Tongli Water Town, an age-old but very well preserved water town with a history of more than 1,000 years. Forty-nine stone bridges in a variety of styles link the different parts of the town. Many old residential houses with typical features of South China built along the riverside. The entire ancient town is just a large scenic area for you to explore and your guide will show you around. Taking a traditional boat ride along the canal will add more fun to your trip. Just get your camera ready. After that, your guide and driver will accompany you back to your hotel in Shanghai.
