A great way to end the day

Caught this tour to end the day and watch the sunset. Our guide Ivo was super energetic and helpful with insights on the landmarks. We were staying right in the heart of Porto and mostly exploring on our own so this tour is great if you want to get out and see things that are not in the obvious tourist core of the city

Never made it to the right sunset spot

This is a quick way to see Porto. However, we were not taken to the sunset spot noted in the itinerary (which apparently is the best place for the sunset). We were taken to a lonely weird area off the side of the road. We also went with teenagers and asked if they could provide sparkling water so they can toast too and the company said no. So we paid the same price but weren't given anything for them. We ended up buying it ourselves.

Response from the operator: Hello from Living Tuk Tuk, Dear Monica, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We regret to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. We also appreciate you bringing these points to our attention, as they help us identify areas where we can improve. We work every day to enhance the quality of our service, and your comments are valuable in that process. We will review what happened regarding the sunset stop to ensure the experience delivered is consistent with our itinerary. We will also take your suggestion regarding non-alcoholic toast options into consideration, as we understand how important it is for all guests to feel included. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with an experience that exceeds your expectations. Kind regards, The Living Tuk Tuk Team

    Sunset tuk tuk

Our driver ‘James’ was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were hindered as Portugal were playing in the World Cup so many roads were slow or blocked. Excellent port and views.

Response from the operator: Hello from Living Tuk Tuk, Dear Michele, Thank you very much for your kind review. We’re delighted to hear that James made your experience enjoyable. As you noticed, football is truly the national sport in Portugal, and whenever the national team plays, locals gather in cafés, public squares, and other meeting spots to watch the match together and celebrate the occasion. It creates a unique festive atmosphere. We’re glad that, despite the trafic, you were still able to enjoy the beautiful views and your visit to Porto. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Kind regards, The Living Tuk Tuk Team

    Adverse weather

Adverse weather conditions hindered this tour as a number of sites weren’t clearly visible through the plastic curtains on the side of the vehicle.

Response from the operator: Greetings from Living Tuk Tuk, Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback about your experience with us. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best, but that gives the city a different charm. We are very happy that you had a great time with our team. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to see you again soon! Best regards, Living Tuk Tuk

Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.

How much does Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.

Is Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast?

    +

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sunset Tuk Tuk Tour in Porto with Port Wine Toast start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Porto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Porto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
