The views on the journey will be stunning, but we will also stop along the way to take photos. One of our photo stops will be at the Es Colomer view point, where the scenery is breathtaking. Then we drive to the watchtower Atalaya de Albercutx in Formentor. On our way, we will see great views and a great landscape. The climax of the excursion will be when we get to the watchtower, where you can explore and take photos. We will toast the sunset with a glass of cava with strawberries and you'll get some of the best photos of your holiday.

    Amazing Evening Tour!!!

Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Pedro was an incredible guide and even snuck us down to see the beach before winding our way to the top of Formentor to capture the most stunning sunset I have ever seen, topped off with champagne and strawberries! And we were also picked up and dropped off in Pollensa. One of the more amazing tours and worth every cent! Pedro’s enthusiasm and smile matched the incredible experience!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this fantastic review! 🌅🥂🍓 We're thrilled that you enjoyed every moment of the Formentor sunset experience, from the beautiful beach to the spectacular viewpoint at the top of Formentor. Ending the evening with champagne and strawberries makes it even more special! ✨ A huge thank you for your wonderful words about **Pedro**. His enthusiasm, knowledge and infectious smile are exactly what we want our guests to experience, and we'll be delighted to share your compliments with him. We're also pleased that the pick-up and drop-off in Pollença made everything so convenient. Thank you for saying it was **worth every cent** and for choosing **Nofrills Excursions**! 💙🌴

    The tour was wonderful....

The tour was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The views, strawberries and champagne were all great. It is windy up at the top so bring a light jacket!

The combination of spectacular views, a beautiful sunset, strawberries and champagne really does make for a special Mallorca evening. 😊 A special thank you for your kind words about the guide. Our team loves sharing the history, nature and hidden stories of the Formentor peninsula, helping guests make the most of this unique location. And thank you for mentioning the wind! That's very useful advice for future travellers. Even on warm summer days, the viewpoint can be breezy, especially around sunset, so a light jacket is always a good idea. 🌬️🧥 At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we’re proud to offer unforgettable sunset experiences in one of the island’s most spectacular locations. Fantastic experience

A must do if you are a nature lover and visit Mallorca. Our tour guide, Seamus, is an excellent driver, drove us safely till the point from where we could see the breathtaking view of the sunset (my first ever). I recommend that even if you are in Palma, please do this tour, spend time in the old town for dinner with some restaurants playing music for people to dance. There are taxis available in old town which you can use to get back to Palma as we took the taxi around 10:30 -10:45 in the night. Seamus was very helpful and knowledgeable. All thanks to him for a wonderful trip.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Ashwini, for sharing your fantastic feedback! We're delighted to hear that your first sunset experience was so memorable and that Seamus made the journey both safe and special. He'll be thrilled to know his knowledge and driving skills helped make your tour unforgettable. Your tips for others visiting from Palma are also really helpful — and we completely agree, it’s worth the trip to experience Formentor’s natural beauty and old town charm. Thanks again for choosing No Frills Excursions, and we hope to welcome you back soon! Warm wishes, The No Frills Excursions Team

    Amazing sunset cruise

Had a wonderful evening on the sunset boat tour. The boat was a perfect size for our group of 5. Frederico was an excellent guide explaining all the local sights. We had 2 stops for swimming, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. Food and drinks were provided throughout the trip and we enjoyed a magical sunset. Thanks for a superb evening!

Sunset Tour to Formentor: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Sunset Tour to Formentor cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sunset Tour to Formentor take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Sunset Tour to Formentor worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Tour to Formentor?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sunset Tour to Formentor suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sunset Tour to Formentor?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sunset Tour to Formentor start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
