About this experience
In the Indian River Lagoon we will head towards the manatee box to lay eyes on one of the most friendly marine mammals on earth. Sometimes they'll pop up right next to you, and you can actually give them a scratch! After we've hung with the manatee, we'll head out in search of dolphins as they are actively hunting for their food all day long. It's not uncommon for them to shoot out of the water, catching fish mid-air right in front of us. After we've spent time with some awesome wildlife, we will settle in for a world-famous Florida sunset. We'll also let the guides do what they do best, show you a great time on the water! Come adventure with Florida-Adventurer and enliven your senses!

Beautiful place. Wonderful guide. Terence explained the natural history of the place. Took great pictures. Saw the folding feeding. Will definitely go back. The tour guide certainly makes a difference. Well done Terence

Amazing Experience with Brian!
We did the sunset tour with Brian. It was absolutely amazing. He was a wonderful guide. We would highly recommend this tour. We saw dolphins up close, manatees (just the nose) and alligators.

Absolutely aweful.
This place is a total scam. Me and my family were going to go on a fun little trip with our 3 little kids for the last day of our vacation. 15 minutes before we had to be there and 45 minutes into the DRIVE to get there they cancelled on us. I do understand that the cancellation policy is on the website but we were not planning to cancel. As they canceled on us. We called the place back asking for some sort of refund as they canceled on US. Not to mention the guy who answered the phone had ABSOLUTELY NO sympathy whatsoever. So not only we got $300 taken from us, we were also treated with a major attitude. He said we could we could reschedule but as I said this was our last day and we live 2000 miles away. I do not understand how this business is still running with thier disgraceful customer service and thier policy on cancellations even though WE did not cancel THE BUSINESS cancelled. I do not advise choosing this place as it is a total scam and there are rude staff that run this place. The man made a reference on disney and how they don’t do refunds. Well disney does not just cancel on you as this place did. This is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous how they canceled on us and we did not get our money back. Absolutely ridiculous.
Response from the operator: Hello again ma'am, As we state on the websites cancelation policy, we do not refund for weather cancelations. We agree you did not cancel the tour, the small craft advisory issues my The National Weather Service mandates that we can not launch kayak tours during this advisory. We sent you a copy of the SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY that was issued 10 minutes prior to us having to cancel your tour. We issued you a raincheck that is good until you use it. Again, we issued you a raincheck that is good until you return. It is an industry standard cancelation policy, that can be seen on our website under "Cancelation Policy". We do not just frivolously cancel our patrons tours as our guest travel from all over the world to experience this activity. It is unfortunate that you think this was done to bamboozle you, however, we have been in business almost 10yrs. You can rest assured when you return, you WILL be able to enjoy your raincheck. We look forward to seeing you in the future.

Experience of a lifetime!
Absolutely amazing experience, we were lucky enough to have our tour guide Zac all to ourselves for our group of 5 ladies, we were all a little nervous but Zac quickly put us all at ease and soon we were paddling along side manatees and dolphins like we were pros 😄 Zac was full of information and enthusiasm about the local wildlife and made sure we got the best out of our trip, including seeing the bioluminescence after it went dark. We loved every minute. Couple of points to note, you will get wet, you will need bug spray and you won't get an Uber 😅 but it was our favourite thing we did in Florida, I recommend this tour to everyone, just fabulous

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cocoa Beach.
How much does Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cocoa Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cocoa Beach is not rushed.
Is Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cocoa Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cocoa Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cocoa Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Kayaking - Wildlife Refuge (Titusville) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cocoa Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cocoa Beach?
+
Cocoa Beach sells surf lessons, airboat rides on the St Johns, bioluminescent kayak paddles in summer and rocket launch viewing cruises, with Kennedy Space Center a short drive north. On Outty we rank every Cocoa Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mangrove Tunnels, Dolphins, Manatee Tour #1 Rated in Cocoa Beach, Wizard of OZ Museum tour, Cocoa Beach Dolphin and Wildlife Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cocoa Beach?
+
March to May and September to November; check launch schedules before booking. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cocoa Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
