Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour

The Stonehenge experience itself was fabulous. My nephew is visiting from overseas and it's the one thing he asked if we could do. We were both massively impressed. The only down side for me was the transport. I was expecting a luxury coach experience but that's not what we got. The bus was old and the seats were tatty and uncomfortable. Plus we were encouraged not to use the toilet! It said 'Emergency Use Only' on the door! For the money I paid I expected the journey to be same level as the visit. On the upside our driver/guide was excellent and informative. I couldn't fault him.

Great Experience

Nice coach, great driver, he talked to us in the beginning and end of each drive. He gave us a description and background of the landmarks we drove by, all done in a funny and approachable way. The local tour guide was AMAZING, She knew everything and was friendly and professional. All in all, it was a great tour. Could have let us a little longer to browse at the Souvenir shop on site.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you had a great experience and that both your driver and local guide helped make the tour so enjoyable with their knowledge and friendly approach. We appreciate your feedback regarding the souvenir shop time and will share it with the team. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon!

Comfortable, Entertaining and Informative

Very informative experience. Our driver Armando was so good on his commentaries going to the site. The ride was entertaining with funny stories. The guide at the stonehenge site was also very entertaining on explaining the history of the stones. We got a lot of understanding and appreciation of the purpose and reasons in constructing this monument. Overall, we highy reccommend this Inner Circle Tour with the Golden Tour, and if you are lucky, Armando will drive for you. Mabuhay! Golden Tours and Armando.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the Jack the Ripper walking tour and that Robin made the experience so engaging, informative, and enjoyable with his knowledge, humour, and storytelling. It is great to know the tour was such a memorable experience for you. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon.

Fantastic Experience!

This trip was a dream come true. We had great tour guides. It was very cold and windy! Bring a sweater or jacket. If you are bald like me, bring a beanie or something to protect your head.

Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour take?

+

Plan for about 11.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 107 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour?

+

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 11.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Stonehenge Inner Circle Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
