Horrible - never met to give us our tickets!

We purchased Fast Track w audio guide. We went to St Peter’s Basilica and the tour agency wouldn’t respond to WhatsApp, Viator messaging or phone calls. Viator customer service tried calling 2 numbers for them, they never responded. We finally got into the free line and it closed after we waited an hour! We missed seeing the most historic Christian chapel in the world!! We flew out the next morning. Completely unacceptable. Horrible!!!!!

    Not told about early closure

Purchased this tour at 7:12 a.m. on October 8, 2026 for that same day without being told that St. Peter’s Basilica would close at 12:30 p.m. Arrived at 12:15 p.m. and couldn’t get in. Later learned that the early closure had been announced by the Pope on September 29, 2026. Should never have been sold the tour without this information. Have requested a refund, but haven’t learned if it will be approved.

    A Total bust

I never received the ticket or meeting location. Had to request for a refund. Not a good experience at all

    No tickets supplied

I never received the QR code for my tickets for entry. I asked no less than a dozen people I messaged and tried to call numerous times with zero response. Unfortunately we never got to enter because the only thing I had to download was a voucher which clearly stated this is not your ticket. Even the people at the gate were perplexed as to where I’m out with possibly meet up with my tour operator to receive my tickets. They weren’t in the WhatsApp or an email. I will be expecting a full refund. I don’t know why you have to chat option if you’re not gonna respond to the chat Noor if you’re gonna answer your phone. What a disappointing experience and waste of time.

    Viator disappointing

I’m sure the basilica is wonderful, but unfortunately we were not able to get in as we couldn’t locate the Viator meeting place. Even with the help of one of the support members at the venue.
