Sri Lanka August Holiday - amazing
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our two-week journey around Sri Lanka with Lanka Safe Tours was one of the best holidays we have ever had, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible driver and guide, Sampath. From the moment he welcomed us at the airport until he dropped us off in Colombo, Sampath went above and beyond every single day to make sure our holiday was perfect. He was always punctual, professional, incredibly kind and one of the safest drivers we have ever travelled with. Driving in Sri Lanka can be challenging, but with Sampath behind the wheel we always felt completely relaxed and safe. What really made him exceptional was his genuine passion for his country. He didn’t just drive us from one hotel to another—he introduced us to the real Sri Lanka. He shared fascinating stories about the history, culture, religions and local traditions, recommended wonderful restaurants, stopped at breathtaking viewpoints and took us to places that we would never have discovered on our own. He was always happy to adjust our itinerary whenever we wanted to spend more time somewhere, stop for photos, visit a local shop or simply enjoy a beautiful location. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always made sure we were comfortable, looked after and enjoying every moment of our trip. Together we explored Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala, Mirissa, Bentota and Colombo, creating memories that will stay with us forever. Even when we experienced a few hotel issues during our holiday, Sampath remained positive, supportive and did everything he could to help us and make the situation easier. His kindness and calm attitude meant more to us than words can express. Beyond being an outstanding driver, Sampath became a friend. His warm smile, positive energy and infectious laugh brightened every day of our journey, and saying goodbye at the end of the trip was genuinely emotional. We already miss him. Sri Lanka is a truly beautiful country, but people like Sampath are what make it unforgettable. He is a wonderful ambassador for his country and for Lanka Safe Tours. Absolutely amazing
We had an excellent experience with Lanka Safe Tours during our two week trip around Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived until we reached Colombo, everything was organised professionally and ran fairly smoothly. A special thank you to our driver, Sampath, who was outstanding throughout the journey. He was always punctual, friendly, courteous and drove safely, which made us feel completely at ease on Sri Lanka’s busy roads. His knowledge of the country was invaluable and he recommended some fantastic places to visit along the way, including hidden gems that we would never have found ourselves. He was also very flexible, happily adapting our itinerary whenever we wanted to make an extra stop or spend more time somewhere. Amazing accommodation
Beningborough is a 4 bed, 4 bath house on the outskirts of Middleham, North Yorkshire. It is ideal for 4 couples, as the bedrooms are all en suite. There are 2 lounges with spectacular views over the valley. The kitchen is very well equipped with an adjacent dining room, also with excellent views. There is plenty of parking and local busses serve nearby towns. There are several pubs nearby, which serve excellent food. We had a wonderful time and were so impressed that we have booked to come again next year.

We had our 17 day tour of Sri Lanka. Our driver and guide was Prasanna from Sri Lankan Safe Tours. Our car was very roomy and comfortable with good aircon. Prasanna greeted us every day with a big smile full of enthusiasm to make sure our day would be special. We felt very comfortable with Prasanna’s driving and experience. Our accommodation was very comfortable with Prasanna organising check-ins and delivering our luggage. The food was amazing. We experienced the diversity of the country from city, mountains and beaches. Prasanna has wonderful local knowledge and was very patient and prepared to adapt to our needs. Prasanna took many photos for us which helped record our experiences. We would highly recommend Prasanna and Sri Lankan Safe Tours for a comprehensive, relaxed, informative and safe way to experience Sri Lanka and its wonderful scenery, history and people.

Excellent experience
We have had a wonderful 2 weeks tour with our guide Thassa, driver Amila and assistant Sampath. They were all very helpful and respectful, and we could trust their judgement and experience during our entire tour, despite the difficult situation and floods happening in the country. They have always found good alternative solutions. We can highly recommend their services in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka.
