Small bus tour of our own choice
We had a small 10 seater bus. Our driver Harsha was amazing. Always very flexible and provided plenty of recommendations of where to go. We couldn't have picked a better driver/tour guide. Always friendly and on time. Nothing was too much trouble.

Sri Lanka Experience
We had an great time exploring Sri Lanka, and it wouldn't have been possible without the brilliant planning from Ceylon Escapes. Trip to Trincomalee from Colombo return
We did a 5 day trip from Colombo / negumbo to trincomalee return including day trips out of trincomalee. Saman our driver and guide was amazing, always on time, really helpful and importantly such a safe driver . He was great with our 6 year old as well. I couldn’t recommend him or Ceylon escapes anymore. Super trip.

One week exploring Sri Lanka!
Ceylon escapes team was really polite and helpful right from the planning phase. Our guide and driver, Tissa, took good care of us and was generous in sharing his knowledge of history and the places. He also keeps his van really clean and prepares water for us everyday so it was comfortable. He was always punctual and clear with locations to meet. We visited Sigiriya, Ella, and Galle over 6 days. He trekked with us throughout the various attractions even at sunrise to the Sigiriya Rock and explained the history at each place. We also had tea and coffee together and he treated us to local tea. :) We went to the Minneriya safari and unfortunately didn’t see any elephants as there was a storm the previous day and the elephants didn’t want to come out of the jungle. However the guide and the safari driver were nice and brought us to see elephants who strayed out to the forests by the roadside. We enjoyed local food rice and curries a lot! The accommodations recommended by the agency were also nice, but overall still a bit pricey. Nonetheless, would recommend taking a tour with Ceylon escapes and with Tissa, especially for first timers to Sri Lanka! ;)

Outstanding Sri Lanka Tour Experience with Sail Lanka and Ajith Perera
We recently completed a 16 day tour of Sri Lanka with Ceylon Escapes, and it was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. The beautiful destinations, excellent organization, and especially our guide and driver, Ajith Perera, made this trip truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, Ajith took care of everything. He was not only our driver but also our guide, travel advisor, problem solver, and, by the end of the trip, a friend. His knowledge of Sri Lanka was outstanding. Whether we were visiting historical sites, cultural attractions, national parks, or simply driving through the countryside, he always had interesting stories and valuable insights to share. What impressed me most was how easy he made everything. I never had to worry about exchanging money, purchasing attraction tickets, arranging safaris, finding train tickets, or organizing day to day logistics. Ajith handled it all professionally and honestly. His integrity was exceptional. Time and again, he managed to obtain prices that were lower than the advertised tourist rates. For example, when safari tickets were being sold at a higher price, he found them for less. At all times, I felt that he was looking after our interests rather than trying to make extra money from us. That level of trust is priceless when traveling in a foreign country. One of the highlights of our trip was the famous train journey to Ella. Anyone familiar with Sri Lanka knows how difficult these tickets can be to obtain. Yet Ajith managed to secure them for us, allowing us to enjoy one of the country's most iconic experiences without any stress. He also helped with the practical things that many guides would never think about. After nearly two weeks on the road, we needed laundry done. Ajith collected everything, arranged the service, and returned our clothes clean and neatly prepared. Small gestures like this made a huge difference. During safaris, whale watching excursions, and other activities, Ajith's presence greatly improved the experience. He worked closely with local drivers and boat operators, making sure they took their time and helped us get the most from every outing. We always felt well looked after. The vehicle provided by Ceylon Escapes was also excellent. We requested a spacious and comfortable vehicle, and they delivered exactly that. We traveled in a nearly new Toyota van with plenty of room for passengers and luggage. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, equipped with dual air conditioning, and perfect for long journeys across the island. What made the experience truly special was the personal connection we developed with Ajith over the course of 16 days. By the end of the trip, we genuinely felt like family. As a warm and memorable gesture, he even invited us to his home on our final day. Sri Lanka is a wonderful country, but having the right guide can transform a great trip into an extraordinary one. If you are considering touring Sri Lanka with Ceylon Escapes, I strongly recommend Ajith Perera. He is knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy, kind, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring his guests have the best possible experience.
