Highly recommended for a great experience
We had an amazing 2-week trip through Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina with Kruno as our private driver. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready with great tips and local insights. Thanks to him, we discovered hidden gems, enjoyed smooth travel, and felt completely at ease throughout the journey. Highly professional, friendly, and passionate about the region — Kruno truly made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Definitely a highlight of our Croatia tour.
Our guide/driver Marijo was outstanding. He arrived at our yatch on time from Split, assisted with our luggage and drove us to Cavtat. During our ride Marijo pointed out a lot of highlights, made extra stops at fruit stands, restroom stops and stopped to show us Rizman Winery and stopped for photos. We were taken to a private oyster/mussel farm in Ston, the owner took us out for tastings and explainedthe farm life of his oysters. He is 7th generationoyster farmer. His daughtercooked us delicious mussels too, he also made a stop at Ston Salt flats for a few salt purchases. He was a complete gentleman, very kind and great driver. We felt safe in the van. 4 people with lots of luggage. New oversize comfortable van. We assisted with our luggage in Cavtat. I would highly recommend using this car/ tour services. Everyone and Everything was outstanding. From start to finish service is a number 10... thank you.

First Class Tour company with reasonable rates!
Our driver was Ivan. we had a private transfer from Split to Dubrovnik and a return three days later. He was Ivan the great! He was prompt and communicated in advance of pickup so we could be sure to know his arrival. Ivan was an excellent driver and told us some interesting tid bits along the way. We stopped in Ston enroute to Dubrovnik to enjoy a tour of the oyster/mussel farm all arranged by the owner of Croatia Private Tours, Hrvoje, who organized our excursion and provided in advance recommendations for what to do and where. I highly recommend Ston and the oyster/mussel farm. Hrvoje also arranged for Ivan to return us to Split. We did a stop in Korcula, also a great spot! I wasn't feeling too well, slight food poisoning, and Ivan offered me an immuno boost drink mix which I took and it helped immensely, so much so that I went to the pharmacy in Split and bought a box. It was so kind of him. My husband and I have taken private transfers/tours in other countries such as Greece, and never have we had the positive experience as we had with this tour group. The car was immaculate, Ivan comes equipped with water, and umbrella if it looks like rain, a blanket if your chilly. Just a thoughtful and well oiled outfit I have no problem highly recommending. You will be disappointed if you choose another trust me!

Beautiful Croatia
Had an amazing experience with private tours Croatia, they were so dependable, professional and guides were fun and very knowledgeable! The food tours that were set up for us were amazing, did not expect. Can’t wait to go back! Would not have been able to enjoy as much if I tried to do without their help! Thank you Ivana, Martin, Mario, George!

A Perfect Experience!
To simply call Marin our private driver from Split to Dubrovnik does not do him justice. While his driving skills are impeccable, that is only the technical side of things. From the time he picked us up from our 5 days in Split to the time he dropped us off in Dubrovnik it was simply wonderful. We opted for the oyster farm stop along the way. Not only was the small town quaint and picturesque, but the couple that run the oyster boat tour were welcoming and generous, especially to me who had never wanted to even try an oyster. The situation was too perfect not to give it a go, and so I did and have to say I was happy to have been coaxed. After oysters, we were set up with a fresh pot of mussels in a to-die-for sauce with fresh bread and some lovely white wine. YUM! Just sitting out at sea was Zen personified. As if that was not enough, Marin suggested another stop on our way in Ston. He was beyond knowledgeable in all of its rich history, including the wall. After about an hour of us milling about on our own to explore the town, we met back up with Marin at a small cafe for a coffee. The conversation was effortless, as if we had known him for quite some time. We then headed to our final destination in Dubrovnik without incident. Simply a perfect day! I can't recommend Marin or this company enough. It is professional and top notch all the way! Do yourself a favor and book something with him/them.

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver cost?
+
Prices start at $236 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Split to Dubrovnik Private Transfer with Local Experienced Driver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
