We had an amazing...
We had an amazing snorkeling experience with Alex! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating and made the whole experience fun and comfortable for our family. We saw tons of sea turtles up close, along with lots of beautiful fish, and even got to hold a purple pincushion starfish and a red pencil urchin. Alex also took some fantastic underwater photos and videos for us, which gave us great memories from the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or snorkeling adventure. Definitely one of the highlights of our Maui trip!

Sea turtle 🐢 heaven 😍
It was the most amazing 👏 experience ❤️ .We got to see 👀 7 or 8 sea turtles 🐢 and then went to the most authentic and stunning beach to watch the sunset.

Absolutely amazing experience! Alex was our guide and he went above and beyond for us. This was our son's first snokeling experience and was a bit nervous. Alex continued to make sure he felt comfortable and was having a good time. Throughout our time on the water, Alex pointed out various fish or cool things to see. We got to see so many turtles up close!! We were so blown away by this experience. We'll be recommending this company to anyone going to Maui! Simply cannot say enough good things about the experience!!

This is a walk-in from...
THIS IS A WALK-IN FROM SHORE TRIP, NO BOAT TAKING YOU OUT INTO THE WATER TO JUMP OFF AND CLIMB BACK IN BY LADDER. Many people had trouble getting in and out of the water by being knocked down by waves and dragged along the shore. My legs were bruised and bleeding by the time I got out. I’ve been on many snorkel tours and have never heard of one not going out by boat. I see many other complaints of the same thing and each time the owner states “It was clearly stated what the tour was.” We booked our tour through Viator. CLEARLY THERE IS NO SUCH STATEMENT. True, there is no mention of a boat,-is that supposed to be a clear statement that there will be no boat??? On top of that our guide was very unprofessional. Joe talked about how he and his coworkers would go to the bar at night and make fun of their customers. Also, we were all together as a group when the guide suddenly swam way ahead of us and yelled there was a turtle. When the first person (young and athletic) caught up to him the turtle was gone. The guide kept saying we had to swim faster, but he was the one with the hand held propeller. I know turtles can quickly swim away, but I couldn’t help but wonder if there was a turtle to begin with, thus the “turtles guaranteed” would not apply in this case. We did not see any turtles on this swim, just some small fish, a sand dollar and a spiked orange creature that we could’ve seen on our own swim from the shore. I feel this was a waste of money and do not recommend this tour.

We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our listing clearly states that this experience does not take place on a vessel. It is an active, water-based experience, and a reasonable level of physical ability and comfort in the ocean is important. Unfortunately, this particular group struggled significantly with the physical demands of the activity, which made it very difficult for our guides to provide the experience they had hoped for despite their best efforts to accommodate them. Regarding the comments about our guides “poking fun,” we also feel some important context is missing. The joking referenced in this review was initiated by guests from another group. Our guides simply engaged lightheartedly with the conversation in an effort to be friendly and maintain a positive atmosphere. They were not being serious, nor did they initiate those comments. Our guides are professional, and their goal is always to keep guests safe while making sure everyone has an enjoyable experience. With mixed groups, different personalities and senses of humor sometimes come together, and comments one group finds funny may not land the same way with another. Part of our guides’ responsibility is managing those different dynamics, and we will certainly continue being mindful of that. We made multiple efforts throughout this experience to accommodate this group and help them enjoy their time with us. Unfortunately, they remained dissatisfied despite those efforts, and there ultimately was very little our team could have done to create the experience they were expecting. We stand behind our guides and the professionalism they demonstrated, while also appreciating the feedback and using it to continue improving how we communicate expectations to future guests.
