A Must Do While Visiting Sonoma
My sister and I were on a memorial trip in honor of our Dad. Found this tour online and, boy, did it exceed our expectations! When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by our guide, Emily, and she helped us adjust our bikes properly, explained how to use the gears and pedal assist and we were off! Emily went above and beyond as our guide, sharing so much information of the area and the wineries we visited. Lunch was delicious and our wine guides were lovely. Would highly recommend!

An absolute MUST do!
An ABSOLUTE yes when visiting! We took the full day tour today that included 2 wineries and a stop at a cheese shop. So much fun with our guide Emily and the group that was with us. Emily went above and beyond and took pics, shared info and took us to some great wineries. Go out and be adventurous using this incredible way to see the vineyards and have some fun tasting!

Wine country from a different perspective
My wife and I participated in the full day bike tour on November 22, 2025 and it was fantastic. We used the normal pedal bikes, but the others with us all used the pedal assist e-bikes. We had no issues at all. There was maybe two hills the whole trip and we went at a leisurely pace. We were able to see parts of Sonoma that we had not seen before, stop in at a farmer's market, two wineries, and a cheese shop. We would highly recommend the tour and are planning to do it again the next time we are in Sonoma.

Great day in Sonoma!
We had the best time bike riding through Sonoma Valley. It's such a great way to see the landscape and visit places you would never know about. James our tour guide was amazing! He was knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. I highly recommend!!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Napa & Sonoma.
How much does Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $189 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Napa & Sonoma usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Napa & Sonoma is not rushed.
Is Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 126 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Napa & Sonoma, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour?
+
Around 44 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Napa & Sonoma can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Napa & Sonoma and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sonoma Valley Bike and Wine Ebike Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Napa & Sonoma within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Napa & Sonoma?
+
Napa and Sonoma are all about how a tour is put together: which wineries it can actually book, how many stops, whether lunch and tasting fees are included, and whether it lifts off in a balloon at sunrise. We weight inclusions and transparency heavily in the ranking here. On Outty we rank every Napa & Sonoma experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Napa Valley Small Group Winery Tour, #1 Sonoma Walking Food, Wine Tasting & History Tour (Public Tour), Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Napa & Sonoma?
+
March to May and September to November, with harvest crush in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Napa & Sonoma?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
