    What a great experience!

Wendy provided us with a great day of fun, exercise, and exploration! Our group was me, my colleague, and her girlfriend. We are all reasonably fit individuals and Wendy made sure that we were going at a pace that was comfortable for all, providing appropriate rest breaks and checking in to ensure we were all comfortable. Wendy made sure that we had everything we needed. She brought snacks, a warm drink, treats, and hand/foot warmers for us. The equipment was great. Her driving through snowy mountains was great. We were lucky to have been there on a day that it was snowing. It felt like we were walking through a snow globe! To top it all off, she gave us restaurant recommendations for the remainder of our stay in Denver. I got to check one of them out (Linger) and it was fabulous. Thank you Wendy! Our trip to Denver was made better by meeting you!

Response from the operator: Aw, thank you ddm251! I really enjoyed your group and am so pleased that it was snowing! I'm even happier that you enjoyed it so much. Please look up Yeti Set Go again next year, I'd love to snowshoe with you again. Happy trails!

    Scenic Mountain Hike

We had a great hike! Wendy gave us all the info we needed to be prepared and she provided all the equipment for the hike. Learning about the history of the area was interesting. The scenery was beautiful and the hike was not to strenuous for us non hikers but we got a great workout in.

Response from the operator: Aw, thanks Nicole! I really enjoyed spending the beautiful blue sky day with you two. Safe travels home. Wendy

Can’t go wrong with Yeti, Set, Go!

Words can’t even begin to describe the awesome time we had with Lisa for our snowshoe hike. She was so patient with us as we started out. Being from South Louisiana, we had no idea where to even start. She picked us up from our hotel in downtown Denver, provided all the gear we needed, taught us how to use it, and we set off. Lisa was knowledgeable about the area and very personable. We left our trip felling like we had been friends for years. I will recommend this hike to anyone and everyone who is thinking about taking a trip to Colorado.

Response from the operator: Thank you Godfrey! This gave us all at YSG an enormous smile. Thank you for spending some time with us in our backyard. We look forward to your return when we can show something new again. Much peace and prosperity to you in 2020. Wendy

    A True Denver Experience

I had booked this tour as a suprise for my fiancee on our recent trip to Denver. She kept sharing with my how much she wanted to go snowshoeing, so I surpised her with this tour from Yeti Set Go! Our guides, Wendy and Alex were unbelievable. Immediately after I had booked the tour, Wendy reached out to me to explain what we should bring and what to expect on the hike. In the days leading up to our tour, Wendy was extremely responsive with any and all questions that I had. On the day of the tour, we were picked up at our hotel in downtown Denver by Wendy and Alex and were driven our to the trail head. The conversation was lively and both were eager to learn about my fiancee and myself. Once at the trailhead, they supplied us with everything that we needed to get the full experience (Snowshoes, gaiters, trekking poles, etc.). We hiked for a total of five miles with a nice lunch break in between. During the break, we ate sandwiches that Wendy had prepared for us with some hot chocolate to keep warm. If you are looking to get an outdoor experience in the Denver area, there is no one else I would recommend but Wendy and Alex. They will do everything they can to ensure you have the best day! This was an unbelievable experience and my fiancee had a blast! Thank you so much for making it such a memorable day!!

Response from the operator: So many thanks Josh! I'm elated that you two had such a great day! It truly was fun for me and Alex as well. The two of you are such an engaging and delightful couple. Hoping to see you soon when your path leads you through Colorado again. To you, much peace and prosperity in 2020. Wendy

    Such a fun experience!

This tour was great, not only experiencing the beautiful mountains and scenery (and learning about the history of the area) but also it was super easy to get to the pickup spot with all the helpful information that was provided beforehand. Being from out of state (one without actual winter) this was sooo helpful. Tips- hand warmers for your gloves make a huge difference, wear 2 layers of everything, plenty of chapstick and you’ll have a great time!

Response from the operator: So glad you enjoyed your snow-adventure! It was such a pleasure to be part of a first-time-snow experience. Keep up your adventures! Happy New Year!

Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Denver.

How much does Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver cost?

    +

Prices start at $379 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Denver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Denver is not rushed.

Is Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Denver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Denver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Denver and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Snowshoe Through History Tour from Denver start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Denver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Denver?

    +

Denver is a launch pad. Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, Red Rocks and the Georgetown rail loop all run as day trips, and altitude makes the timing of your first hike matter. In town: brewery crawls, Union Station food walks and Red Rocks show nights. We rank mountain operators on van size, pace and whether they build in altitude acclimatisation. On Outty we rank every Denver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Downtown Denver Food Tour, Twilight Ghost Tour, Small Group Tour of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods from Denver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Denver?

    +

June to September for open mountain passes, or December to March for ski shuttles. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Denver?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
