Nice tour with multiple stops
Alex was a great guide, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I appreciated not having to drive and just enjoyed the scenery. It was 88 F in Denver and 42F with snow on the ground and flurries in the air at the top of Pike’s Peak so bring a layer!

Definitely RECOMMEND
We were only in Denver for a short trip and get a little taste of the area. We decided on the Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. What an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We have truly never seen such breathtaking scenery. Pictures could never do this trip justice. What made this excursion really great was our Tour Guide, Alex. Really amazing guy with a great knowledge of just about anything Denver. A definite must do.

Stunning views and an amazing guide
Ryan was incredible! He's a true trivia wizard, full of amazing facts and stories that kept the whole day fun and engaging. This is a great tour if you want to fit a lot into one day, with both Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. The weather kept us from reaching the very top, but we drove as close to the summit as we safely could, and the views were still breathtaking. There's not too much walking and a fair amount of driving, but it's absolutely worth it for the scenery. I'd definitely recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you, Ema! Ryan will love hearing that his trivia, stories, and knowledge kept the day fun and engaging. While the weather did not cooperate all the way to the summit, we’re glad you were still able to experience some breathtaking Pikes Peak views along with Garden of the Gods. We really appreciate your recommendation!

Bring a warm jacket to...
Bring a warm jacket to Pike’s Peak. It might be snowing! Spectacular! Ryan, our guide, was so informative and the small group wonderful!
Response from the operator: Great advice about bringing a warm jacket! Pikes Peak weather can change quickly, and sometimes a little snow makes the scenery even more spectacular. We’re so glad Ryan’s knowledge and the small group experience made the day even more enjoyable. Thank you for joining us!

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 3,348 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Denver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Denver is a launch pad. Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, Red Rocks and the Georgetown rail loop all run as day trips, and altitude makes the timing of your first hike matter. In town: brewery crawls, Union Station food walks and Red Rocks show nights. We rank mountain operators on van size, pace and whether they build in altitude acclimatisation. On Outty we rank every Denver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Twilight Ghost Tour, 2 Hour LoDo Historic Walking Tour in Denver, Downtown Denver Food Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Denver?
+
June to September for open mountain passes, or December to March for ski shuttles. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Denver?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
