Topi, Miikka and Spanish Lopez family!!!
Topi and Miikka are the best guides, from the Lopez family in Spain!!! Our whole family went on a trip to the mountains to enjoy snowmobiling. It was an incredible experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our guide Topi, took us and rode with us, has shown us reindeers and was giving us explanations. The other guide Miikka was already at the snowmobile location and then came with us. They were attentive at all times, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. The road between trees, nature, and the guides was absolutely incredible. We had the chance of taking a coffee in the middle of one of the oldest forest of Lapland. Definitely something we would do again!!! Thank you Topi and Miikka! 🤩🤩😍😍🥰🥰
Response from the operator: Dear López Family, Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for choosing us for your snowmobile adventure. We are truly happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience so much and that Topi and Miikka made your trip to the mountains so special. Showing reindeer, riding through the forest and sharing a coffee in the middle of the Lapland wilderness is exactly the kind of memory we want our guests to take home. It was a pleasure to have your family with us, and we sincerely hope to welcome you again for another adventure in the future. Warm regards, Lapland Welcome Team

Unique experience exploring nature with a snowmobile
The tour started in front of santa claus village. Our guide explained very well how to use the snowmobiles. It was a 3h tour with 2 moments of free time which was very nice. At the 2nd free time hot chocolate and a cookie was offered. You need a driver licence to operate the snowmobiles which was not clear at the beginning.

Great experience!! Loved it!
Mika was great. We ride for at least 5 hours. We stopped in a few places to take pictures, he took us to a beautiful bridge. We crossed a few frozen lakes and ride through the woods. He did a fire, we hooked our food and had hot chocolate. Was a great experience. I will definitely recommend this company for your snowmobile experience.

Charging riders regularly for €900 due to lack of insurance from the company
Do not book any tour under any circumstance with this company (name: Lapland welcome) No snowmobiles are insured and at the end of the guided tour (no independent driving, all instructions followed), they will say you have damaged the vehicle and will keep you in their office until you pay €900. There is no proof this damage was not present before providing you the vehicle. Beware that the tracks are slippery and the snowmobiles will slide (for those who do not drive them regularly aka most of us). They (‘Willi’ the manager) said openly they do this 10 times per month/season so they will pick you at random to pay the sum of €900 or ‘call the police’ if you do not pay. Please stay away from this company at all costs.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rovaniemi.
How much does Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rovaniemi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rovaniemi is not rushed.
Is Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rovaniemi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rovaniemi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rovaniemi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Snowmobile Safari in the Arctic Nature - Rovaniemi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rovaniemi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rovaniemi?
+
On Outty we rank every Rovaniemi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage, Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Tour with BBQ, Rovaniemi:%100 Guaranteed Northern Lights Hunt&Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rovaniemi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rovaniemi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
