It’s hard to find the place. The taxi dropped us off I guess at the partners beach. The beach had quarrels are tour guide did not go with us told the boss that we canceled which we never did so when you go to the water make sure the tour guy is with you because we got stung by the corals and one of our family members were drifted by the current and they had to go and save him which in the meantime, he lost one of his fins and they made him pay for it The food on the menu was only available for a burger and fries, tacos and something else, but you could not substitute for anything else on the menu, even though the price was cheap cheaper than the burger.

Beware!
We visited this beach last year and had a lovely time. I was eager to return and made reservations for our group. However, our guide was a no-show. I’m not sure if it was mis-communication due to time changes or what, but our group of 8 had found our own transportation to the beach and waited for about an hour and 30 minutes. I tried to phone the number provided, but couldn’t get through. I was able to communicate with 2 different Viator representatives via the app, and have been assured my full amount will be refunded. For that I am thankful. But on our vacation, we had been looking forward to an experience like we had previously, with Luis as our snorkeling instructor, lunch by the beautiful Caribbean Sea, and some time spent in the gorgeous pool across the street. None of that happened this time. The beach area was littered with trash and deserted. The pool area was gated and locked. From some comments made by local folks, properties have been changing hands and lots of things are changing. Viator, I suggest your providers ensure they can provide what they advertise. We made the best of the situation by walking a few feet over to the Money Bar, and they had various activities available for purchase. Thank you Money Bar staff! You were kind. Overall, Very disappointed with this experience.

Great value and relaxing
Our family visited at the end of January 2026 - as the taxi rolled up we observed a very humble looking place. We were nervous at first, but the man who immediately welcomed us validated the Viator package and quickly pointed us to a shaded table and introduced us to Luis, our snorkeling guide. The ocean side table was wonderful. Don’t expect lavish accommodations - but I’ll skip that any day for the type of experience we had. Luis was super patient with my 10 and 13 yr old girls as we ventured out in the water. He reassured us we could hang on to the lifesaver at all times if need be. My kids and husband had an awesome Time with him in the ocean and they saw many cool things! He would dive down and pick up Or point out things to look at. When they returned from snorkeling we got a fajita meal!! We thought it was very good! Zero complaints! We ordered fancy virgin drinks for the girls and they were great too! This was not only the cheapest excursion for us, but in my opinion- the BEST. There were local kids playing soccer and then running into the ocean to cool off - I thought it was great! The only thing to be aware of is that the beach is rocky and not sand. It’s my understanding that many beaches in Cozumel are like this. I loved every second we spent there and would book again if we were to ever return. Btw - they never mentioned or requested a good review. I have had other place ask, but this place didn’t.

Faulty Purchase Process
SOOOO FRUSTRATED! I booked online for the same day. Stood around at the meeting location and no one came. I finally called and they said I would have to wait until another day because they require 24 hours to send a confirmation. Uugg! I had limited time.on the island so could not reschedule. Very disappointed 😞. Would not recommend if time is a factor. They have good reviews and poor processing!

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Snorkeling and Beach Club Access in Cozumel with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
