Fantastic day with a fantastic guide!

We had a fantastic day with Adam Kaczuba. Adam is very passionate about Iceland. He has shown us beautiful places of Snaefellsnes. In addition to guide, Adam does photography, caving and volcanology as a hobby. He knows a lot about this special island and loves to share his knowledge.

A beautiful area

Our guide took us around the peninsula as advertised. He was kind and informative. The trip was beautiful. As nonsmokers, we will say that there was a little too much vaping (always outside the vehicle) for our liking going on all day long.

Wonderful day with an Excellent Guide

We went on a Try Iceland tour on the first day of our trip to Iceland and enjoyed the tour and the guide, Adam, so much that we cancelled a tour with a different company and signed up for a new tour with Try Iceland for the last day in our trip.. So happy that we switched. Both tours with Try Iceland were phenomenal! Adam felt like a good friend by the end of the tour. His knowledge of the areas and experience made our trip.

Response from the operator: Hello Vallejomal, Thank you very much for your nice review. We are more than happy to read so positive opinion. My best regards,

Unforgettable!

Reliable, personal-able & loves to show off Iceland. When your guide is a passionate adventurer & his hobbies are exploring & photography you cannot ask for a better host. He made our experience touring the Snaefellsnes peninsula unforgettable. Our next trip to Iceland all our excursions will be with "Try Iceland". Thank you Adam!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Andrea, Thank you very much for your nice words. We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave us this note. Kind regards,

Private tour with Adam

We took the Super Jeep tour of the Snaefellsness Peninsula with Adam through Try Iceland Tours and had a fantastic experience. We went off-road, saw lava fields and hiked along the coast! Adam is incredibly knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Icelandic culture, the history of Snaefellsness, and the geology of the region. He was accommodating and polite; there was WiFi in the car and he brought coffee and tea for us on the road. We highly recommend this tour and Adam if you want to see breath taking sights and walk the beautiful coasts of Snaefellsness!

Response from the operator: Dear Seth, Thank you for your review. Great to hear that you liked travelling with us. Hot drinks are always good solution during a long trip. Especially when Icelandic weather is not spoiling us :) Warmest regards and do not hesitate to contact us next time,

Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik cost?

+

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Snaefellsnes Peninsula Day Trip by Super Jeep from Reykjavik start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

+

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
