    On your own.

This tour literally is on your own. We were in a small bus but we were the only 2 persons who spent the day in Lucerne. Everyone else went to another location. They were very good at coordinating a time to pick us up at the end of the day. However, we were not given a map or any other suggestions of what to do. It did rain the entire day which made seeing anything difficult. The hour cruise was a nice break from the rain but overall I cannot recommend how this tour is handled.

Response from the operator: "Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Please note that this is an independent tour, meaning you have the flexibility to explore the destination on your own at your own pace.Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather, but we’re glad you were able to enjoy the cruise as a break from it. Best regards

    Great trip to Lucerne

Very comfortable ride in a clean coach to Lucerne. Drop off in a convenient place to see the highlights of the city. Tony is a friendly and helpful driver who gave us lots of information. He went above and beyond to assist us when one of our group was injured. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you Tony!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed Lucerne, and that the drop-off location was convenient for exploring the city. We’re especially grateful for your kind words about Tony. It’s fantastic to know that he provided helpful information and went above and beyond to assist your group. We’ll be sure to pass on your thanks to him!

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
