    Unaccomodating

I felt very sick that morning and wanted to be mindful of all the passengers so I wanted to refund my ticket rather than probably throw up on a boat for 7 hours and they declined me any form of accommodation and wouldve rather I dealt with being sick on the boat than even give a partial credit or refund. It's an expensive tour I was looking forward to, and no one plans to get sick but having no form of emergency plan really is unfortunate and makes you think twice about booking something like this

    The reason for 4 stars...

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the communication beforehand. Clear instructions weren’t really provided, we felt rushed to arrive earlier than expected, and unfortunately the woman who contacted me came across as rude and impolite, which wasn’t the best way to start the experience. The actual boat tour was SO much fun and definitely the best part of the experience! Our captain was an absolute vibe. He was friendly, fun, and made everyone feel comfortable. He even let us use his phone to play music and put us on to some Italian rappers lol. Once we were on the boat, the energy was great and we had an amazing time cruising the coast.

    Average tour

It was very confusing, the left is stay for an hour in Amalfi to have lunch so most of the people did but when we returned to the boat they took us to a restaurant to have Lunch but it wasn’t included it . Just be careful as you will have to pay for it . It seems it is included on the tour but not

Response from the operator: We are sorry there was some confusion, but we would like to clarify an important point: we do not require or force anyone to go to the restaurant. During the tour, we simply ask our guests whether they prefer to spend more time in Amalfi and have lunch there on their own, or continue the tour and stop at a local restaurant. The choice is entirely optional. For this reason, we are a little surprised by your complaint, as you chose to join the restaurant option instead of staying longer in Amalfi. We would also like to clarify that lunch is not included in the tour price, and this is clearly stated in the tour description. The restaurant is simply an optional stop offered to guests who would like to have lunch, and the cost is paid directly by the customer. We hope this clarifies the situation and avoids any misunderstanding for future guests.

    +

Prices start at $183 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small Group Boat Tour: Discover the Amalfi Coast from Positano take?

    +

Is Small Group Boat Tour: Discover the Amalfi Coast from Positano worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 348 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Boat Tour: Discover the Amalfi Coast from Positano?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group Boat Tour: Discover the Amalfi Coast from Positano suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 122 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Positano?

    +

On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Positano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Positano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
