First diving experience
Excellent from start to finish We did the 2 beginners dives at 8.30am. Friendly, professional and fun. Good value for money. My 3 kids went on their first diving experience. They enjoyed it that much they did another dive 4 days later. Thanks Luke,Leighton, Lois and India.

Abysmal planning, broken promises and zero empathy
I contacted Nuria Olive, founder of Atlantis, two months before our trip to Lanzarote to organize several dives with my husband, Marcos. In 2019 he suffered an accident that caused the amputation of a leg and the loss of mobility in his right hand. From the beginning I explained in detail their needs so that they could organize the logistics well. Nuria assured me that her center specialized in adapted diving, that they had trained instructors and that ideally she would do the dives from boat, something that, she told us, made this type of situation much easier. With that confidence, we confirm dates and we're signed up in your schedule that you can't use flippers. However, when the first day came, the reality was completely different. Nuria was not at the facility, despite telling me she would be, and the instructor assigned to her did not have any information about our case. I didn't know anything about Marcos' needs or how to organize the dive. Besides, there was neither a boat nor any adapted material. They didn't even have an amphibious chair to make it easier to enter the water from the beach. The only option we were offered was that Marcos, after removing his prosthesis, enter the water “with the lame leg” on a beach of volcanic songs. Something completely unworkable and dangerous, and which we had previously explained in detail, was not possible for him. Seeing no preparation or solutions, they told us they had many clients that day and asked us to come back two days later. We had travelled from Malaga to Lanzarote with the main objective of diving, with all the extra effort that implies in our situation. That first day, moreover, the conditions were perfect. The next day there were already storm alerts, something any dive center knows in advance. As a result, we lost time, money and the only real opportunity to have dived during the trip. Our experience has been deeply disappointing, both professionally and humanely.

A perfect diving christening in Puerto del Carmen: Nuria makes it easy and safe
Experience of 10 at the diving christening in Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote). We were a small group and that shows a lot: constant attention, clear explanations and zero rush. The activity lasts about 2 hours and is super well organized, perfect if it is your first time. Special mention for instructor Nuria: close, professional and very watchful that you go quiet at all times. I felt safe from minute one and enjoyed the water a lot. I would repeat without hesitation.
Response from the operator: ¡Qué alegría leer esto!

The best diving agency for Lanzarote, Islas Canarias in Spain
What an experience! These guys are really good. We were greeted by a group of like 7 people and helped us all the way to get our gear ready, walking to the boat and moreover Diving! Patient (it was only my 7th dive), caring and understanding my shortcomings, they helped me all the way.
Response from the operator: Jorge, thank you so much for this amazing title — "the best diving agency for Lanzarote" means the world to our whole team! Being welcomed aboard by a crew of 7 people isn’t something you’ll find everywhere, but it’s exactly how we believe every diver deserves to feel: looked after from the very first moment. We’re especially glad to hear our team was patient with you on your 7th dive — that stage of your diving journey is so important, and having instructors who really listen and adapt makes all the difference. That’s something we take great pride in at Atlantis Diving Lanzarote. Whenever you’re ready to keep progressing and exploring the incredible underwater world of the Canary Islands, we’ll be right here waiting for you. See you on the next dive! 🤿

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.
How much does Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours cost?
+
Prices start at $83 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.
Is Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Single Scuba Try-Dive in Puerto del Carmen - small groups - 2 hours start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?
+
On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatini's Show Bar, #1 thing to do PDC (Badge of Excellence), Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff, MHT Lanzarote - Comedy Drag Dinner Show Experience - No1. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lanzarote?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
