  1. Cueva de los Verdes

The Cave of Greens is a unique formation of landscape and volcanological features of extraordinary value. 2. Jameos Del Agua

Los Jameos del Agua is the first Art, Culture and Tourism Centre created by César Manrique, a natural space created inside a volcanic tunnel. Inaugurated in 1968, the artist, painter and sculptor transformed the space into a unique work that represents the maximum expression of his ideology: artistic creation in harmony with the environment and nature.

  3. Situated 500 metres from the cliff, you can enjoy spectacular views of La Graciosa.

  4. Haria

Haría is located in the enchanting "valley of a thousand palm trees", one of the best palm groves of the Canary Islands. As the road enters the mountains, this oasis appears in the middle of the island's pure geology: green land and crops dotted with the white of the island's popular architecture.

  5. Casa Museo del Campesino

Located in the geographical centre of Lanzarote in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the Casa-Museo del Campesino is the work with which César Manrique recognises the efforts of the farmers of Lanzarote. From the bus we will see the Monumento a la Fecundidad, also known as the Monumento al Campesino. It is a construction of more than 15 metres, created by César Manrique together with the master Jesús Soto, from old water tanks from ships, iron and concrete objects assembled together, a magnificent reflection of avant-garde art, which has become one of the iconographic symbols of the island.

  6. La Geria

La Geria is a peculiar area of the island of Lanzarote with an abundance of vineyards. With a volcanic landscape and arid land, the quality of its wines is surprising. It is unusual to find vineyards in such a terrain. We will stop at a winery for a small wine tasting.

    20 minutes here

  7. At the camel track, you can take a 20-minute ride on the back of this beautiful animal. For those who do not wish to visit a small museum about the history of the camels on the island of Lanzarote.

  8. Timanfaya National Park

The Fire Mountains are the unusual result of the eruptions in the south of Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries. A spectacle of red craters, lava flows and lunar landscapes that reflect the burning of the earth and its uncontrollable force. Its 200 kilometres of extension form part of the Timanfaya National Park, where one of the largest volcanic activities in the world can be seen, both for the immense quantity of materials thrown up by the fire, and for its spectacular duration: six years between 1730 and 1736 when the bowels of the island did not stop roaring.

  9. El Lago Verde / Charco de los Clicos

This green lake located in the crater of a volcano has become one of Lanzarote's main tourist attractions.

A fun filled day of activities

My niece and I took this day trip. It was well organised and ran to schedule. The caves were beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing them. We didn't opt in for the Jameos del Agua or the camel ride but others did and I believe they enjoyed. The drive around Timanfaya and demonstrations of the volcano were impressive and then we had a last stop at the lagoon which was very pretty. Overall it was an enjoyable day. Thank you

Response from the operator: We're so glad you enjoyed the best of Lanzarote on our tour! Best wishes and come back soon!

Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.

How much does Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff cost?

+

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.

Is Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 1,484 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff?

+

Around 519 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?

+

On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatini's Show Bar, #1 thing to do PDC (Badge of Excellence), Catamaran Sailing in Lanzarote, Volcano Trekking Tour (Timanfaya eruptions). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lanzarote?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
