What you'll see and do
Casa Museo del Campesino
After a transfer of about 20 minutes from your hotels, we will meet the rest of the group at the Monument to the Peasant. Located in the geographical centre of Lanzarote in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the House-Museum of the Peasant is the work with which César Manrique recognises the efforts of the peasants of Lanzarote. From the bus we will see the Monument to Fertility, also known as the Monument to the Peasant. It is a construction of more than 15 metres, created by César Manrique together with the master Jesús Soto, from old water tanks from ships, iron and concrete objects assembled together, a magnificent reflection of avant-garde art, which has become one of the iconographic symbols of the island.

La Geria
We leave the Monument behind us and in about 30 minutes we will arrive at La Geria, a peculiar area of the island of Lanzarote where vineyards abound. With a volcanic landscape and arid land, the quality of its wines is surprising. It is unusual to find vineyards in such a terrain. We will stop at a winery to taste a shot of this wine.
20 minutes here
After half an hour's walk, you can take a 20-minute ride on the back of this beautiful animal. If you don't wish to do so, you can visit a small museum about the history of camels on the island of Lanzarote.

Timanfaya National Park
After a beautiful 20 minute drive from our last stop, we arrive at the Fire Mountains, the unusual result of the eruptions in the south of Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries. A spectacle of red craters, lava flows and lunar landscapes that reflect the burning of the earth and its uncontrollable force. Its 200 kilometres of extension form part of the Timanfaya National Park, where one of the largest volcanic activities in the world can be seen, both for the immense quantity of materials thrown up by the fire, and for its spectacular duration: six years between 1730 and 1736 when the bowels of the island did not stop roaring.

El Lago Verde / Charco de los Clicos
From the Timanfaya in 20 minutes we reach this green lake located in the crater of a volcano that has become one of the main tourist attractions of Lanzarote.

Good tour
Good introduction to Lanzarote but stops are too brief. Nice guide and driver. Camel ride was a highlight.

An island like no other
Wow! What a surreal experience this island is. You have to put yourself in a different mindset to appreciate the beauty of this volcanic wonder. Our guide was so cute and enthusiastic that she made us appreciate the landscape and tour. If you’re going to Lanzarote off a cruise ship, this is a great way to see it. I appreciate it experience more after I left and thought about how crazy it is that there are 300 volcanoes on the small island. It’s not a place I would return, but I’m glad I saw it one time in my life.

Camels and Volcanoes! Great Time
Great excursion from port. All of their directions were very clear to meet bus. Easy walk from port. If you want to ride a camel, this is the tour to take. It was a blast and lasted 25 minutes. Animals were clean. Learning about the 300 volcanoes was really informative.

Well worth it
Really enjoyable, great pace, no hard sell, fab knowledgeable guide and spectacular landscapes...really recommend this if you stop off on a cruise. A great way to see a lot of the sights. Picked up on a great coach from just outside the port.

Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.
How much does Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers cost?
+
Prices start at $72 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.
Is Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour to Timanfaya, La Geria and Laguna Verde for cruise passengers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?
+
On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatini's Show Bar, #1 thing to do PDC (Badge of Excellence), Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff, Catamaran Sailing in Lanzarote. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lanzarote?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
