Viator too pricey

So overpriced if you book this on Viator - just sort it locally. If we had one locally we old have been over 100 dollars less

Response from the operator: Dear Value Guest, Thanks for your review. Pricing can be different all over the place. Have a wonderful day. ACT team

Be warned - this is a rip off!

We were very disappointed with this excursion which i had booked several weeks in advance, based on the reviews ACT had. It is quite an expensive tour, so I was expecting a high level of service. The driver picked us up from our hotel in Siem Reap ok, but the car was very old with worn and split seats. The seat belts didn't work properly and were badly frayed. Not safe and illegal in most countries. The guide's English was ok but not great which led to a few issues. He tried to take us on the standard tour but I had specifically agreed on booking what I wanted and didn't want to do, which was ignored. The journey back in the dark was frightening as the driver drove dangerously, taking many risks. We were relieved ti make it back to the hotel. I've raised my concerns with ACT direct but had no response, which is telling. This tour was a total con.

Great day in Battambang!

I had a wonderful day with Jay and Mr. Hong in Battambang, who were both lovely, and Jay was an excellent guide. I wish I could have stayed longer in Battambang but I'm so glad I could at least do this tour for the day. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Value Clients, We at ACT are so happy to hear all the incredible reviews from you and it is our pleasure to make sure you have the best holiday possible while visiting our beautiful country. We wish you all the best and hope to see you in the near future. What makes us very happy is to see your faithful review and we are so pleased to have you and toured you around. Best Regards. ACT Team.

Day trip to Battambang

Would definitely recommend this trip! Our driver and tour guide were both great. The trip on the bamboo train was fun and the bats were one of the highlights of my trip to Cambodia. Mr Jack our tour guide also took us to different houses in the village to see how banana chips, rice paper and rice wine were made. This was a nice extra and insight into life in Battambang. Mr Jack also taught us a lot about general life in Cambodia which was really interesting

Response from the operator: Dear Value Clients, We at ACT are very happy to hear all the incredible reviews from you and it is our pleasure to make sure you have the best holiday possible. We want to wish you all the best and hope to you in the near future. Best Regards ACT Team.

Very enjoyable tour!

Did a Battambang day tour as well as a food tour with Lux and it was great! Lux was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely accommodating. For the food tour, he will bring you to eating places for locals and that’s exactly what I wanted in order to get an authentic Siem Reap experience. Will strongly recommend to anyone looking for a guide in Siem Reap and beyond!

Response from the operator: Dear Vindik, Thanks so much for this lovely review, it was my pleasure taking you around while you are around my city Siem Reap. Wish you all the best and hope to you and your family again in the future. Best Regards Lux

Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip) cost?

+

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip) take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip)?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Siem Reap to Battambang Private Guided Tour (Day Trip) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
