    Jeep experience enjoyed by all

Chan our guide was warm and friendly and enthusiastic and spoke excellent English. The drivers Riy and Toeum were also friendly and drove us safely. We saw buffalo, ducks and goats everyday life in the countryside. Chan showed us around the market, where our driver showed us how to eat insects :-) We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the end. A great experience too for our teenage boys.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Mario, for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed the Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience with Chan, Ray, and Toeum. It’s great to know that you enjoyed seeing the buffalo, ducks, goats, and everyday life in the Cambodian countryside. We’re also happy that the local market and the adventurous insect tasting made the experience even more memorable. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Chan, Ray, and Toeum. Thank you again for choosing to explore the countryside with us, and we hope to welcome you and your family back to Cambodia for another adventure! Warm regards, Sambath

A Once in a Lifetime Cambodia Tour!

My friend and I had the most AMAZING time!! Saiy was a fantastic guide who answered our questions thoughtfully about the history and culture of Cambodia. The highlights of the tour were swinging on the hammocks at the noodle restaurant and watching the locals make sticky race in bamboo sticks (we also got the chance to eat it & they were delicious)! I’ve never been to a monastery before and it was so interesting to learn about! The locals were very kind and joyful! Such an unforgettable experience & a great way to get a comprehensive look at the countryside.

    Countryside and lake touring

We had a lovely afternoon with guide Saiy recently. We did the Tonle Sap Jeep tour and were picked up from our hotel by Saiy with his drivers in a pair of vintage jeeps. We bumped along country roads looking at farms, a market, rice fields and even a wedding!! It was a hot drive but it cooled down as soon as we left the city and entered the lush countryside near the lake. We drove through tall villages on stilts and then boarded a boat that took us out onto the lake to enjoy sunset. Saiy provided plenty of cool water, cold beer and good humour. It was a great afternoon!!

Response from the operator: Dear Anil, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience with our Tonle Sap Jeep Tour. We’re delighted to hear that you had such a lovely afternoon exploring the countryside with Say and our vintage jeep team. It’s always special to see guests enjoy the authentic side of Cambodia, from the farms and rice fields to the stilt villages and even a local wedding along the way! We’re also happy that the sunset on Tonle Sap Lake made the experience even more memorable. Your kind words about Say’s humor and hospitality truly mean a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to pass your compliments on to him and the drivers. Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Cambodia in the future. Warm regards,

    Perfect Phnom Penh day trip!

I had the most amazing time! Long was the best guide. Super knowledgeable, kind, and took lots of photos! I was traveling alone and wanted something off the beaten path that still felt safe. Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 68 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience?

    +

Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Siem Reap Countryside Vintage Jeep Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

    +

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
