All expectations exceeded

On a work-related trip to Thailand, I took a side track and went to Siam Reap for two days as I have dreamt of visting Angkor Wat all since I was 10 years old. My high expectations were met - Angkor Wat is as great as I have ever thought. But not only Angkor Wat, the whole Angkor area is full of history proving that Angkor was the greatest pre-industrial civilization. To get the full understanding of everything from the pre-historic times up until recent the conflicts between Cambodia and Thailand, a good guide makes the full difference. Booking a guide is always a lottery. This time I came out as the winner, I got the best possible guide. Nothing more could be wished for. He guided me through the full tour, finding the best path to avoid the crowds, and even gave me suggestions for what to do in the evening. If you need a guide (and you do) when visiting Angkor Wat (which you should), make sure you book Seyha!

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
