Angkor Wat
After exploring Angkor Wat in the soft morning light, continue to a quiet area within the Angkor complex for one of the highlights of the tour: a chef-prepared jungle breakfast. Set up privately for Discova guests, this picnic is freshly cooked and served in a calm, natural setting surrounded by the sounds of the morning. We use this stop to slow down a little bit, relax, and enjoy a proper meal before continuing the day’s discoveries.

Bayon Temple
Once breakfast is finished, begin your bike adventures along gentle park roads and shaded paths that link the most remarkable temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park. Our routes are carefully planned to avoid heavy traffic and to show a side of Angkor many visitors miss. Ride through ancient gateways and quiet sections of forest before arriving at the striking Bayon Temple, the centrepiece of the once-great city of Angkor Thom. Its fifty-four towers are carved with more than two hundred serene stone faces, each believed to represent either King Jayavarman VII or the compassionate Buddha Avalokiteshvara, watching over the ancient capital.

Ta Prohm Temple
From there, continue to Ta Prohm, often called the “Tomb Raider Temple.” Here, massive silk-cotton and strangler-fig trees have taken root in the crumbling walls, their roots twisting through doorways and stone corridors. The blend of architecture and nature gives Ta Prohm its unmistakable, atmospheric beauty and makes it one of the most photographed sites in Angkor.

The early 4:30 AM start...
The early 4:30 AM start was absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat from the bike was stunning — one of those moments you don't forget. Our guide Soun, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the history come alive throughout the tour. The trails were more challenging than I expected, but in the best way — it added a real sense of adventure to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see Angkor differently and isn't afraid of a little workout. 10/10 would do it again

Don’t hesitate - book this outstanding tour!!
We would highly recommend this tour as an amazing way to see Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom!! Our guide Chen was outstanding, and we learned so much about Khmer history and culture. Despite the heat, the bike ride was cool and the terrain easily manageable for novice riders.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation! We're delighted to hear you had an amazing experience exploring Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prohm. We're glad Chen was able to enhance your journey with his knowledge of Khmer history and culture. It’s great to know the bike ride was enjoyable and manageable, even in the heat. We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon

Biking with Siem Reaper a great way to see Angkor Wat in a different way. But definitely some effort required.
Our Tour Guide Ben was a lovely young man. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the temples and hazardous areas of the biking path. He was there also very easy to chat with and we learned a lot just about a young person‘s Cambodian life. Because it was only the two of us, had already seen some temples and we are in our mid 60s, we were able to tailor the experience a bit so that we could spend more time in places we wanted to and get out of the sun when we needed to. Our driver, Mr Toch, made us feel very safe in our Tuk Tuk, was always where we needed him, and made us beautiful fresh fruit for our break. It was also very nice to be able to choose off the menu for lunch rather than one of those horrible buffet lunches with some other tour operators. All in all a long, but good day !
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear that Ben was able to share his knowledge and that you enjoyed learning more about Cambodian life. It’s great to know that the tour was flexible enough for you to tailor the experience to your preferences, ensuring both comfort and enjoyment. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Ben and Mr. Toch—they’re both valuable members of our team. We agree that having a personal lunch experience is always a highlight! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!

Brilliant tour, somewhat challenging cycling
Chen was an amazing tour guide; really kind, funny and knowledgeable. The temples were stunning and the snacks, meals and water top-ups made me feel very looked after. The cycling was more challenging than I expected but doable and really glad I chose this tour. Would recommend Chen to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We’re so happy to hear you had a great experience with Chen as your guide. He truly goes above and beyond to make each tour special, and we’re glad his kindness, humor, and knowledge made a lasting impression. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the stunning temples, as well as the snacks and meals that helped keep you refreshed along the way. We totally understand that the cycling can be a bit more challenging than expected, but we’re so glad you found it doable and that you’re happy you chose this adventure! Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to Chen. We hope to see you again on another tour in Siem Reap or beyond!

An amazing different way to experience the temples with a great guide!
My husband and I try to do a bike tour in almost every country we visit. However, I am not really a comfortable bike rider otherwise (we live in NYC, my husband will bike, I do not). So I really don't go biking that often. That being said, this was one of the more challenging bike experiences we've done but I still enjoyed it, would do it again, and would definitely recommend it! First, our guide Sunchen was phenomenal. He was so kind, so accommodating, and was just a pleasure to spend an entire day with. He went at a great pace, and knew so much about the sites we saw. At one point I lost my sunglasses and he went back (it was quicker for him than for me or my husband) and found them so quickly when it would've taken me so long. He was so great to speak with and we really enjoyed speaking with him about his life and experiences. The bikes are in great condition. First, he led us to a great spot for the sunrise at Angkor Wat. We actually ended up being the only two people on this tour! So it was a private tour for us, which is amazing. Either way I'm sure he could've handled a larger group. After Angkor Wat we went and had an amazing private breakfast with a private chef making omelettes, toast, fresh coffee/juice. Then we headed on our way. Most of the paths are very easy and flat. Some of it is a little more tricky but, again, I was able to manage. At one point it did start downpouring (we went during rainy season) and Sunchen was able to navigate us around the super flooded parts. We had done two days of tuktuks and not only did Sunchen skip parts we already saw so we could spend more time at newer (to us) sites, but he also took us along the back roads/bike paths that you couldn't go on tuktuk or simply walking. We saw some incredible sites we could not have seen without this tour and it was such a cool way to see everything. We met up with our driver a few times for snacks and breaks, and just had a great tour overall. If you're not horrible on a bike and not afraid to get a little dirty (and I wore white linen pants so you'll be fine!), you should absolutely do this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your husband had such a memorable experience on the bike tour! It’s great to know that despite being a bit out of your comfort zone, you were still able to enjoy the adventure and would do it again. Sunchen will be so happy to hear your kind words — he truly loves sharing his knowledge of the area and making the experience special for every guest. We're glad the bikes were in good condition and that you were able to explore some hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path locations that you wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. It’s wonderful to know you felt well taken care of, even with the rainy season and the challenging paths. It sounds like it was quite an adventure! Thank you for the recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back on another tour whenever your travels bring you back our way.

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 416 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast?
+
Around 146 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Sunrise Bike Tour & Jungle Breakfast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
