Best tour ever!
Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Everyone went above and beyond to support me and ensure I had the best tour ever. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Due to the poor weather we struggled to get into Lukla for 2 days. I was at the airport with a lot of other people doing tours with different companies. The Sherpa team were the only tour company that were easily contactable and organised a helicopter. Couldn’t recommend them enough! Also Mindu was the absolute best guide ever. He was so lovely, looked after me very well and ensured I had the best tour ever! I’m already planning on coming back to do future tours through this company and with Mindu.

Very good guide Rinji and porter!
I completed the 9-day trek to Everest Base Camp, and most of my positive rating goes to our guide, Rinji, and our porter. We were extremely fortunate to have such an excellent team. They were helpful, polite, and passionate throughout the entire trek. Their dedication and support made the experience truly memorable. However, travelers should be careful about the transportation arrangements if the flight from Lukla to Kathmandu is cancelled. We were offered a “private” Jeep to Kathmandu, but it was actually a shared ride. The Jeep was overcrowded, making the long journey very uncomfortable. The company did not provide any compensation other than arranging the Jeep ride. Since the cost of traveling by Jeep is significantly lower than the cost of the cancelled flight, so what happened to the remaining amount, you will never know. But the company eventually provided us the supporting documents for the insurance claim.

The best trip with the best Sherpa and porter
I was so lucky to have Pasang and Kumar as my Sherpa and porter. These guys made my trip so smooth and so incredible! Great people, knowledgeable and always ready to help and have a laugh and did everything with a smile. If you’re planning on doing any trek ask for them, I wouldn’t do another trek without them! Trip of a lifetime!

Best trek experience.
One of my best experiences of lifetime happened when made it to EBC with the help of Sherpa Expedition. Ram, manager helped tailor my itinerary smoothly and also offered helpful advices for the trek. Lakpa Sona Sherpa, was amazingly good at his job. He knows what the client needs, whether it is health related or trek related, Lakpa Sona is the best guide you can ever have for your journey. I was very well taken care of when I fell sick during my trek and Lakpa made sure I finished my trek in good health. He also advised me on what food and drinks to consume in order to recover fast and it worked out well for me. Lastly, Pimba and Captain, our two porters were also actively involved in successful completion of the trek. They did a great job and always smiled. They also waited for me when I needed some extra time to rest. Good job guys. You are the best!! Thanks a ton! #SherpaExpedition

Unforgettable EBC Experience November 2025 !
Everest Base Camp Trek was a part of our Bucket List for a long time. And we finally completed it and completed successfully thankful to Sherpa Expeditions and our wonderful guide Pasang Temba. We are very thankful for all the experience and attention to details that our gude provided to ur small team of 4; He made sure everyone is welcomed , everyone's needs are met and we felt cared and secured through our 12 days journey; Our guide was very knowledgable regarding Nepalese traditions, provided suggestions and updates to day-to-day routine ahead of time so we always knew what to expect and how to get dressed; We highly recommend Pasang Temba as a guide for Everest base camp; He is a true professional and a caring person. Everest Base Camp trek is a combination of physical and emotional. It is very hard to maintain the balance on the trek as you go through some struggles with high altitude and potential other issues; Our guide always advised us on the various dishes to order to make sure we are well and healthy and can cope with all the altitudes; Our whole team successfully completed the trek and we are very proud and happy about this achievement that woun't be possible without our wonderful porters and a guide.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $2,200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days take?
+
Plan for about 264 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 264-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek 11 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
