Machu Picchu Last Minute 2 day Tour

I booked the "last minute Machu Picchu tour" with this agency and it was great! The staff was super attentive and genuinely helpful and kind. They arranged transportation directly from my stay in Cusco and made sure to drop me off where I needed to upon getting back to Cusco. They also handle the lodging and train ride for Aguascalientes and bus ride to Machu Picchu. I was traveling alone so it was really nice to not have to worry about all the logistics at the crack of dawn in a country I had not previously visited. I ended up getting a private tour guide which was awesome! They walk you through the process for acquiring entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, which was also nice to not have to navigate, as it is a 2 day process(the wisest thing to do is getting entrance tickets several months in advance), but I didn't book in enough advance. So I waited in line with the help of the guide was able to get a decent circuit. Now I know that even if I would have gotten an entrance ticket in advance, I would still book this tour as you definitely get your money's worth having all of the travel logistics taken care of for you. The staff was amazing and super sweet the entire process, including the million questions I had before booking. I highly recommend this agency. I am so grateful for them, as they made my experience phenomenal! The tour guide was knowledgeable and took great pictures of me, which I was not expecting a personal photographer, it was really nice to have pictures of me there!!! I am quite happy with the experience and service provided.

Thank you @cuscoperu for making the trip a wonderful experience

We traveled to Cusco with nothing planned, no excursions, no tickets to Machu Picchu, nothing. I contacted several companies, and none offered a solution... except CuscoPeru, which offered us some options at reasonable prices. They took care of us from day one, at every moment of our trip and excursions. They assigned us specialized guides who passionately shared their culture with us. Each excursion was a masterclass in the life, culture, and history of the Inca Empire and their people. We would like to special thank Maria Condori Valencia, our operations agent, for her daily concern; Juan Carlos Bello, our guide in Machu Picchu, for sharing his knowledge with us with passion; Richard Bandera, our guide on the excursion to the Sacred Valley, for sharing his culture with us; and Rosa Madera for her invaluable excursion in the citytour of Cusco. Thank you @CuscoPeru for your efforts in making this trip exceed all our expectations. Highly recommended to make your trip a magnificent experience

Response from the operator: Good afternoon, dear Antonio, Thank you so much for your incredible comment! 😊 We’re happy to know that, despite not having an initial plan, we were able to make your experience in Cusco so memorable. The entire CuscoPeru team is passionate about providing the best experience, and we’re thrilled to know their efforts were appreciated. Thank you for recommending us, and we look forward to seeing you again to continue sharing more adventures!

    You won’t regret

Amazing!!! From start to finish… at first I was scared because I didn’t book Machu Picchu ahead of time. But this company was able to get us booked. They are punctual. All professional. They check in at all times. The hotel was decent. Very small but overall it was good. Victor the driver was good. Edan the guide was AMAZING!.. Juan Carlos was great. Just overall amazing. Also I am a bigger man, if you are on the heavier side. Take your time. Don’t rush because the breathing gets tough at first. Do not let that discourage you. One step at a time!!

Response from the operator: Good morning dear Alex. I want to thank you for share your comment. We are very happy to know that you got a good service and learned more about our culture. If some day do you decide to come back, count with us one more time. Best regards.

Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu cost?

    +

Prices start at $935 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Short Inca Trail 2 Days - Machu Picchu start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
