Great First Time Experience!!
We arrived at the site a little late(we're from GA, and got a little turned around) but they waited, the goddess were thorough and great at what they do, and seemed to ENJOY what they do.. make a difference, to me. I'd never been in a kayak, and neither had my wife. Once I relaxed and got my bearings oh how to navigate, it was smooth sailing. I'd recommend it to anyone!!

The view and the place is nice!
We could not hear the guide. We would suggest that he could stop and have a parlante to guide instructions . We got stuck in the mood and we could not tell Him yo help , he was far from us . We solve the problem .

What Lurks in The Waters?
This glass-bottom kayak tour was pure magic from start to finish. As the sun began to set, the sky turned the most beautiful shade of pink, like fluffy cotton candy stretched across the horizon. The water was so calm and smooth it looked like glass, creating the perfect mirror for the stunning sunset colors. The green lights beneath the kayaks illuminated the water below, giving us an incredible view of the sandy bottom, waving sea grass, and the fascinating underwater world beneath us. It felt like floating through a glowing dream! The highlight of the evening was getting up close and personal with the local wildlife. We were lucky enough to see manatees swimming nearby, peacefully gliding alongside us as we paddled. Local birds swooped overhead and skimmed across the water, making us feel like we were truly part of nature. A huge shoutout to our guides, Austin and Nolan! They were knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and made the entire experience feel safe and welcoming. Their passion for the local environment and wildlife was contagious, and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing time. If you’re looking for a unique adventure that combines breathtaking scenery, incredible wildlife encounters, and fantastic guides, this is it. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Truly a 10/10 experience!

Night kayaking
Our tour guide was phenomenal!!! She was full of energy and knowledge! I loved dealing with Sharkeys!!! The staff was attentive and helpful. We felt very safe! Even at the end when the water began white capping. I was slightly disappointed with the path of the tour- which could have been due to the large amount of people on the tour. I thought we’d explore a larger area for a longer amount of time. But overall it was fun! I feel like this tour would be great for families with younger children. But please hear me when I say dealing with the Sharkeys was NOT disappointing! It is a beautiful group of people!

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding!: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sarasota.
How much does Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding! cost?
+
Prices start at $62 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sarasota usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding! take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sarasota is not rushed.
Is Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding! worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sarasota, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding!?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding! suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding!?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sarasota can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sarasota and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sharkey's Glass Bottom Kayak Night Tour with Fish Feeding! start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sarasota within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sarasota?
+
Sarasota runs dolphin and manatee boat tours out of Sarasota Bay, kayak trips through Lido Key mangroves, Siesta Key beach days and visits to the Ringling estate. On Outty we rank every Sarasota experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sarasota Guided Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Tour, Sarasota Mangrove Tunnel Guided Kayak Adventure, Manatee Discovery Anna Maria Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sarasota?
+
November to April for dry weather and calm bay water. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sarasota?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
