Long drives in tightly spaced van for 13 passengers
The 7D6N Yellowstone tour was quite packed, and time allocated to some stops were quite short (20min). The van carrying 13 passengers was tight/squeezy with little leg room. The van’s audio system was bad and echoey, so we had issues hearing the tour guide’s explanations/instructions, especially when the van was moving as it was noisy. While the tour package was advertised as English-speaking tour, our guide Jeffrey Yuan mostly spoke in Chinese. But Jeffrey was fairly helpful and responsive when asked questions. Given the tight schedule and long drives between attractions, we had to eat at McDonald’s for 2-3 meals during the trip which is understandable but it would have been appreciated if other fast food options were offered. There was a day when the lunch stop was ~3+pm but the tour guide didn’t give heads up, else we could have prepared some snacks etc. One night’s stay was at Dude & Roundup Motel (1 star) and there was no hot water/kettle provision. The last night stay at 5-star hotel Fontainebleau Las Vegas was great!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing detailed feedback about your recent tour. We apologize profoundly for failing to deliver the seamless, comfortable experience you deserved. As you mentioned, these tourist attractions are popular, and we want each visitor to have the most comprehensive and profound experience possible in the limited time available, so guides need to schedule tours at set times, which can make you feel a little rushed. Please understand that this arrangement is based on our years of experience: we strive to ensure that visitors do not miss out on any worthwhile stops through reasonable planning. The vehicles we use are all professional transportation (The type of vehicle used depends on the number of guests attending on the day). We will continue to improve vehicle configurations to ensure that all vehicles meet the highest standards in terms of comfort and functionality to prioritize guest comfort on extended routes. Your satisfaction is paramount to us, and we hope to welcome you back for the elevated experience you deserve. All our guides are bilingual (Mandarin/English) and can communicate fluently in English. Sometimes Chinese expressions are longer/more complex than English, but rest assured that our guides will explain everything 50-50 and 50-50. We acknowledge the overreliance on McDonald’s and failure to warn about the 3:00 PM lunch delay. Better options and communication were essential. We will review dining options to better align with our guests' priorities. About the hotel, we take the feedback from our guests very seriously and have immediately reported the complaints to the relevant department of the hotel for thorough investigation and improvement. We will sincerely consider your comments to better meet the needs of different tourists. Thank you again for choosing our service and we look forward to the opportunity to provide you with more satisfying travel experience in the future.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oakland.
How much does SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour cost?

How long does SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour take?

Is SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Oakland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour?
+

Is SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oakland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oakland and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does SF to Yellowstone,Grand Teton,Antelope Canyon&Vegas 7-Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oakland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oakland?
+
Oakland covers bay sailing and kayak trips on the estuary, Lake Merritt walks, food tours through Temescal and Fruitvale, and easy access to Berkeley and wine country. On Outty we rank every Oakland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yosemite National Park & Sequoias Private Tour from San Francisco, 6 Hour Private Customized Wine Tour up to 7 Guests Napa & Sonoma, 8 Hour Private Customized Wine Tour up to 7 Guests Napa & Sonoma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oakland?
+
May to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oakland?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
