Fantastic walk in the Serra D'Arga - high recommended!
My wife booked the full day experience, with tour of the waterfalls and making of broa or traditional corn bread. This was a fantastic experience in all aspects. Agostinho was very prompt and clear in all his communication with us, and also showed himself flexible when we had to change the date due to the weather. The bread making experience was wonderful and the lunch we had with the bread we'd made (with meats and cheese as well as local honey and spreads) was delicious and very filling. It was great to try the local varieties of Vinho Verde (Green wine). On the walk, Agostinho set a good pace, and was great at answering all the questions we had about the local area. We got to spend time by the waterfalls, and being able to have an additional stop for a snack was helpful. Given the current Covid-19 circumstances I was impressed by the measures in place. Agostinho wore a visor and mask where necessary (and was clear with us when we needed to do so) and with both the lunch and the snack had separate tables for us and gel to clean our hands. I'd definitely like to do another walking experience here and would not hesitate to recommend Descubra Minho.

A Fabulous Experience in the Beautiful Serra D'Arga!
My sister and I booked this tour as we both enjoy unspoilt nature, hiking, and exploring a less travelled part of Portugal. We were so glad we did! Serra D'Arga is beautiful! It was so enjoyable to hike off the beaten track amidst natural streams and pools, the many waterfalls and old watermills, including one which is still used. A highlight was participating in the making of traditional cornbread in a wood fire oven and then enjoying it for lunch afterwards, together with regional jams, choriços, local wine, farm eggs, etc. Thank you Carman for opening up your kitchen to us, and Agostinho from Descubra Minho for being so kind and showing us such a good time. If you have a few days in Porto, I would definitely recommend to book a tour with Descubra Minho!

Can't say enough about how amazing...
<p>Can't say enough about how amazing this tour and tour guide were! We traveled ALL over Portugal and this was literally the highlight of our entire Portugal trip!!! Gorgeous waterfalls and hike, amazing picnic, everything was done on our own time/pace, friendliest and most knowledgeable tour guide we had of all the tours we took in our 10 days of being there-you can tell he LOVES doing what he does and his excitement is infectious. If you can, I highly recommend asking about staying overnight at Carmen's house, she is SO friendly and warm and welcoming. We took this tour while we were staying in Porto and the tour guide was timely in picking us up and accommodating our needs. You will regret it if you leave Portugal without doing this one!</p>

Not to be missed. A truely wonderful...
<p>Not to be missed. A truely wonderful hike between those beautiful waterfalls and nature, if it was a bit warmer would've been great to have a swim in one of the many lagoons we have come accross. Our guide was extremly knowlagble of the area and the types of trees and plants and we had a lovely picnic by one of the lagoons having some local food of the village. Also we had the chance to bake corn bread in the traditional way with one of the local residents. Our guide also showed us hiw the old water mill operates. We ended the tour driving to a wonderful view point which besides the view we were able to spot wild horses and goats :</p>
