Saranda
Saranda is considered to be the pearl of the Albanian riviera, especially during the summer period, when many refer to it as the unofficial capital of Albania. Located in a perfect natural bay of the Ionian Sea with an amazing view of Corfu Island. Saranda is blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine during a year, making it a favorite destination for both local and international tourists. The city is known for its rocky beaches, numerous bays, rich flora and fauna, citrus plantations, olive groves and vineyards.

Ksmail will be our next destination! You will feel like you are exploring some tropical paradise when being on its white sandy beaches with the view of the four islands in-front of the beach. Ksamil is the pearl of the Albanian Riviera and it surely is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Ksamil is primarily known for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The Albanian Riviera has many pretty beaches, however, this beach gives you that Bora – Bora feeling. You will have some time to dive in and enjoy the turquoise colour of the sea and soak up the atmosphere.

The Blue Eye
Our Tour leader will come and pick you up in the afternoon and depart towards the natural wonder of the Blue Eye, a source of fresh water surrounded by evergreen trees. The source comes from "Mali i Gjere" and reaches a depth that has not yet been discovered, so far divers have gone deep to 50 meters. The water temperature does not go above 10 degrees. The Blue Eye looks like it come straight out of fairy tale but you can actually visit it. You will not be able to keep your eyes off the mesmerizing crystal-clear blue water

A must do tour of southern Albania
The tour was very well planned.The long drive was in a very comfortable vehicle.Our tour guide was very kind and extremely knowledgeable.The scenery was spectacular.

Ksamil beach is very crowded. I swam to one of the islands then walked across and found a nice private place amongst the coral

Highly recommend
A long day but worth it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, patient and informative. He answered all our questions and made the drive pass by quickly sharing his knowledge. We visited Ksamil, Sarande and the blue eye (which was breathtaking). The company were amazing when a small issue arose with the car and were so quick to resolve too! Would highly recommend Xhonaton as a tour guide, he just made the experience!

First of all: Thank you Ermest for this amazing tour. He really loves what he does and you could feel his passion for Albania and that he wanted to show the beauty of his country. He made this tour truly special. We had great conversations and the long drive just flew by. He took the time for us to experience all stops to the fullest, took plenty of pictures. I can say he made the tour the highlight of my trip. Faleminderit!

A diverse experience in south Albania
It was a really good tour. I felt that I was traveling with a friend, Oltion, my guide, explained to me a lot of things about history, nature and showed me the better landscape to do pics in south Albania. Oltion managed the tour and it was not the classic tour that gave you 10 min here, 20 min there.... That's why I felt that I was traveling with a friend. Also, Choose Balkans allowed me to add Gjirokaster to have a diverse tour, the historical part with gjirokaster; the nature in the blue eye; the European Caribbean in Ksamil and a lovely place in Saranda.
