Incredible experience! You can’t miss it
This was hands down our favorite thing we have done so far in Italy. The experience had me smiling the entire time and genuinely we feel like we learned a lot about gluten free cooking that we can use when we go home. The food was fantastic but what was even better was the chef and her husband as the atmosphere they create. I would recommend this to anyone, worth every penny. The focaccia, the pastas, and the dessert were the best I’ve had here, and maybe ever. Thank you so much to the lovely people who help put this experience on! We hope to come back someday.

Excellent gluten free cooking class
Excellent class and there were only 3 of us. Facility was very clean and our instructor was great with a good sense of humor. We made a leek sauce with homemade ravioli, pasta sauce with homemade spaghetti and focaccia bread with caramelized onions. Few, simple and tasty ingredients.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the class, the recipes, and the relaxed atmosphere created by your personal chef! We especially appreciate your comment about being only three participants. For us, a small class is never a problem—quite the opposite. We are genuinely happy to welcome even just a few guests, as this allows us to offer an even more personal, hands-on, and enjoyable experience. We are also very pleased that you noticed how clean the facility was. In a gluten-free cooking class, cleanliness is not simply about appearance: safety is essential. Our gluten-free classes take place in a dedicated, completely separate kitchen, with its own equipment and utensils. This means that our guests can actively prepare every recipe themselves in a safe environment, rather than simply watching or cooking in a shared traditional kitchen. It was a pleasure making ravioli with leek sauce, homemade spaghetti, and focaccia with caramelized onions together. A few fresh, simple ingredients and good company are often the secret to the best Italian food!

A must do while in Florence.
This was the highlight of our trip. Chef Julio was amazing and the class was so much fun. We learned a lot. With 2 kids having celiac - this was the perfect outing . Our family will remember this night for a long time.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words. We are truly grateful that your evening with us became such a special memory for your family. I will be sure to pass your compliments on to Chef Giulio—he will be delighted to hear them. It was especially rewarding to see your children enjoy the experience without having to worry about gluten. At our school, we take great care in preparing everything from scratch, and having separate kitchens allows us to welcome families with different dietary needs comfortably and safely. Thank you again for choosing to spend part of your Florence trip with us. We wish your family many more wonderful culinary adventures together! Varinia (chef Vary)

BOOK this MEMORABLE experience!!!
Such a FUN experience!!! Both Chef’s were friendly, humorous, knowledgeable, and great instructors. The atmosphere was beautifully charming, welcoming, with an impressive kitchen! We had the best time and met the loveliest people!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this class!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful words! Reading reviews like this truly means the world to us because our goal is not only to teach recipes, but to create real memories around Italian food, wine, laughter, and people coming together around the table. We are so happy you enjoyed the atmosphere, our kitchens, and especially the experience of making everything completely from scratch alongside our chefs. Here in Florence we deeply believe authentic Italian cooking should be hands-on, welcoming, fun, and full of personality — just like a real Italian family gathering. And honestly… one of the most magical parts of our classes is exactly what you described: strangers arriving as guests and leaving as friends. Thank you again for trusting us during your time in Florence. We hope to cook together again someday! Warm hugs from Florence, Chef Vary & Team

Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine cost?
+
Prices start at $112 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Semi-Private Gluten-Free Cooking Class in Florence with wine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
