About this experience

With all those (Covid...)-reasons, nowadays, to be disappointed, anxious, edgy... Most important to stay actively positive, don't you think? The good news: LOVE is the answer. That's why in this walk we open - as a start - our eyes more for love. It's all around us: let's be more aware of that! On purpose we walk there where you normally would shop. But now open for loving details: selflove, love towards nature, material, people, community, humanity. How to relate to it? How to keep it alive? Join and you will see: it's before our feet, all around us. More than you thought it was. We just have to see it more, see more, open up more to it. Walking & talking in The Hague's finest historical part: Royal Quarter, full of art, special products and people and details and plans. Good energy. Pretty sure you will start 'looking like this' in your own environment too. Inspiring! Includes a cup of coffee on the go.

What you'll see and do

  1. Grote Kerk

Never mind the traditional info at attractions, there are dozens of tours doing that. This one and so also this place is used to seeing details of loving care and careless love, true love and conditional love. Selflove, love for nature, people, material, the world. To open up our eyes and heart and mind more often for love. A practical mindset training, moving through fine historical The Hague. In between highlights mentioned here we pass all kinds of references to love, also not recognised by Google Maps.

  2. Paleistuin

We see one of The Hague's best kept secet spiritual places, symbol of life purpose and inspiration: a geat example of selflove and love towards the people around us. And of course it's nice to see the Kings Palace from behind. And maybe have a chat with the police guarding the 'back'. But again the main focus of this place is used to seeing details of loving care and careless love, true love and conditional love. Selflove, love for nature, people, material, the world.

  3. Hofkwartier

Pub of the year, hidden chapels, entrepreneurs making the best of Covid restrictions, trying to spread love anyway, and they do. Great atmosphere to walk here and have a friendly chat with them. Again opening up for all kinds of loving details and details of love around us, in many forms. The more you open up for them, the more you see them. Practice while we walk!

    15 minutes here

  4. Noordeinde

A mix of classy and cheerful shops, beauty and tastefulness and passionate love for detail, fabric, material, presentation, refinement, philosophy, art, the shops ae all different and not so attached to nation-wide chains. Also some smallest alleys we enter, you just have to see them, enter and feel... Small acts of kindness also thee, symbols and proofs of loving care. That's what we look for. Most pobably you will remember this walk also where you live, in your country. Try it out there too? Ah, yes, the Kings palace and statues and so, of course, but what sort of love do they stand for?

    10 minutes here

  5. Noordeinde Palace

Which kinds of love are recognisable looking at the palace, at the king's statue in front and at the queen's statue behind that? We sharpen and open our eyes and mind! This tour is not the usual historical details, but historical anecdotes related to love of course will be told: private and personal, national and international. And on to the next love reference, appreciating love to be recognised more and more around us. And in us. It's a mindset!

How many days do you need in The Hague?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
