    Stunning Wine Tour

We did the tour over Valentine’s Day weekend. The private tour was all about what we wanted to see and experience. We had the freedom to go to a different vineyard if we didn’t like the one we were at. Our Tour guide Jim helped us out with information about the wines and the vineyards during the wine tasting. As we drove along the area he told us some history of the area. We would definitely do this again.

Response from the operator: Diana, thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for choosing Wine Tours of Sedona for your Valentine’s weekend getaway. It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you and Russ on our Rock Star Wine Tour exploring Sedona wine country and the charm of historic Jerome. I’m so glad you enjoyed the flexibility of the private Sedona wine tour experience and that we were able to tailor the day around what you wanted to see and taste. From visiting the Historic Sliding Jail in Jerome and tasting the fantastic Arizona wine at Caduceus Cellars, to browsing the incredible kaleidoscopes at Nellie Bly, it made for such a fun and unique start to the day. Lunch and wine at Merkin Trattoria with the Hilltop Reserva was a perfect pairing, and I’m glad you enjoyed it—especially since you favor reds. Wrapping things up at Queen B Vinyl & Café was also a fun stop, particularly with Russ being a Tool fan. Moments like that are what make a Verde Valley wine tour feel personal and memorable. I also really enjoyed our conversations about NAU and hearing about your connection to Flagstaff—it made the day feel even more special. I’m glad the Valentine’s chocolates were appreciated as well! Thank you again for your business, for taking the time to share your experience, and for supporting Wine Tours of Sedona. I would be delighted to welcome you and Russ back anytime for another Sedona wine tasting tour through the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Wine Tours of Sedona - Sedona, Arizona

Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.

How much does Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $555 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.

Is Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sedona & Verde Valley Private Wine Tour with Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sedona?

    +

Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

    +

March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sedona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
