Our choice of vortex sites visited depends on your spiritual goals and physical needs. You will be picked up at your hotel (or Airbnb) and taken to the vortex sites (1-2 vortex sites visited on this tour). We will make some stops at beautiful overlooks along the way to point out interesting rock formations and tell you more about local geology, flora and fauna. Before we set on a hike, we will perform a Native American Smudging Ceremony to purify your aura. Then we will do some easy yet very effective exercises that will help you become more attuned to the vortex energy. People usually feel a big shift in perception after doing them. You will hike among majestic views of red rocks that glow at sunset. We will take you to the most powerful vortex spots where the vail between the worlds is so thin that connecting to your Divine guidance and finding clarity becomes easy. A beautiful rose petal ceremony can also be a part of this tour.

Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour May 2026

This tour made my trip to Sedona a wonderful experience! Irina and Danil asked thoughtful questions and made an effort to personalize the experience. Pickup was easy and the spots we visited were gorgeous. Danil knew where to find great parking as well as what areas would be secluded from crowds and have stunning views of the sunlight during sunset. I highly recommend One Tribe Tours!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for writing this wonderful review! I'm so happy to hear that we could add some magic to your Sedona experience. May Sedona blessings keep unfolding for you back home 🙏

The perfect experience with a great guide!

This tour was exactly what I needed.Danil is an excellent guide with the knowledge and sensitivity to help with a perfect experience. From the initial cleansing and setting intentions to taking me to a perfect spot where I could release any negative energy to mother Earth and receive some healing energy, it all flowed naturally and beautifully. Danil is also an interesting and enjoyable companion. We also ended up getting a perfect sunset, even though most of the day was cloudy!

A Soul-Nourishing Solo Traveler Sedona Experience I’ll Never Forget

I had the most beautiful, personalized experience during my first-ever visit to Sedona. I booked only a few days in advance, yet everything was handled with such care, warmth, and attention to detail that it far exceeded my expectations. The owner reached out the day before with a confirmation message and clear instructions — a thoughtful and professional touch that immediately put me at ease. As a solo traveler, this made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Pickup was arranged at the most convenient location for me, and the entire tour flowed effortlessly. My guide was calm, knowledgeable, and incredibly grounded, which set a peaceful and welcoming tone from the start. He also adjusted the hike to my comfort level, checked in with me throughout, and made sure I felt completely comfortable at every step. On top of that, he took truly amazing photos — the kind you actually want to keep — which made the experience even more special for a solo traveler like me. I learned a few new meditation techniques, enjoyed deep connections with nature, and felt held in the magical energy of Sedona. Midway through, I was treated to organic vegan, gluten-free cookies and warm tea during a breathtaking sunset — such a heartwarming detail that made the whole moment feel intentional and unforgettable. We ended the tour with a stop at a charming historic shopping center, which added a lovely cultural touch to the day. The price is incredibly affordable considering how personal, safe, and soul-nourishing the experience is. I highly recommend this tour — especially for solo travelers — who want a grounded, customized, and unforgettable sunset journey through Sedona. Thank you so much for making my first trip here magical. 🌅✨

    Amazing!!!

Dont hesitate on booking this tour! Danil guided me in a beautiful meditation and hike as we explored the airport mesa vortex. Danil is so authentic, passionate and knowledgeable about the vortex and surrounding vegetation . I was traveling solo and felt so comfortable and connected . Thank you Danil i will most certainly be returning to Sedona, and I will definitely reach out for another beautifully, guided hike and meditation with you. How could I forget that at the end of our hike, Danil unpacked a delicious homemade cookies and chocolates along with some herbal tea that his wife made very thoughtful and appreciated .

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking a moment to write this amazing review, Nicole! It means a lot to us!

Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.

How much does Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $113 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.

Is Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 56 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sedona Sunset Vortex Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sedona?

    +

Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

    +

March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sedona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
