Fantastic Tour of Porto’s Past and Present
This may have have been the best walking tour I’ve ever taken ( and I’ve taken many over the years). My guide, Pedro, had an incredible passion and knowledge of the city’s history, architecture, and culture and he was able to convey all of it in a captivating way. A true storyteller. The three hour + tour was like meeting Doctor Who and hopping in and out of his Tardis throughout the 2000+ years of Porto history ( nerdy reference I know - but one really does feel like you’re traveling through time and space on this tour). I highly recommend this tour on your first day in the city - you’ll appreciate everything else you do in Porto so much more.

Lovely walking tour in Porto
Our walking tour in Porto with The Other Side was absolutely wonderful! Ana, our guide, took us to some incredible sites, sharing the history of each location. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city. Her love for Porto was contagious. My mom and I had the best time and we highly reccomend this tour for anyone visiting Porto!

Fantastic tour and tour guide!
I visited Porto with a group of friends for my 40th Birthday and we booked the Porto Walking Tour as well as the day trip to the Douro Valley & Vineyards. Both tours were conducted by Diana and were absolutely brilliant. It is such a great way to visit the city and its surroundings. Diana was knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and always happy to take things at our pace. She made our trip to Porto very special. Thank you! I would definitely recommend Diana and “The Other Side” for anyone looking to discover Porto and the Douro Valley.

Great start of our stay in Porto
We loved the food tour! It was a great combination of nice food, a lot of information about the city and a great guide (Diana) who told us everything about living in Portugal. We would highly recommend this tour.

Nice Walking Tour
We enjoyed our tour with Diana, and walked to quite a number of locations, but it would have been a better tour if she had shared more of the history, cultural and social facts and insights of Porto. It was a pleasant morning, and with only one other couple, which was nice, but the additional information would have made the tour excellent. --Not just overviews.

Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Secret Sites of Porto 3-Hour Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
