Wisconsin Friends Adventures in Kingman
Brandon was an exceptional tour guide! We loved seeing hometown Kingman and Brandon’s knowledge of Kingman’s history. The small town winery, distillery, & brewery were awesome! We loved the tastings and took home some products too! The lunch was wonderful too!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review—and apologies for the delayed response! We’re thrilled you and your friends from Wisconsin had such a great time exploring Kingman with Brandon. His passion for the town’s history really shines, and it’s so rewarding to hear the wine, distillery, and brewery stops hit the mark (and sent you home with a few tasty souvenirs!). Perfect small group tour.
This tour was awesome and we had so much fun. The tour guide (Brandon) was very informative and knew a lot about the area. The two wine stops were just what we were looking for and the charcuterie boards at Red’s were so good along with the bruschetta. The brewery stop was a great way to end the tour. Brandon was very flexible with the length of the stops and it made for a very enjoyable day….and we made new friends too.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the kind words and thoughtful review! It was such a pleasure having you on the Scenic Desert Tour. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed the wine tastings, the delicious bites at Red’s, and the brewery finale—it sounds like the day unfolded just the way we hoped it would for you. Brandon will be so glad to hear his flexibility and insights made an impact. And how great that you made some new friends along the way—that's the heart of small group travel. Better late than never—your review means a lot! Cheers to more adventures down the road. 🍷🍺🌵

Awesome tour
Our guide Sue was AMAZING!! We had so much fun with her! She was very informative about the area and landscape, also about the plants we should stay away from. She didn't rush us from place to place, was very lay back and let us enjoy ourselves at each stop. By the end of the day, we all felt like we had found a new friend. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks for making our stay so memorable. Katie Monfils and friends

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kingman.
How much does Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kingman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kingman is not rushed.
Is Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 64 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kingman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kingman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kingman and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Scenic Desert Wine Distillery Brewery Route 66 Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kingman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kingman?
+
Kingman, AZ packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Kingman by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Kingman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oatman Mining Camp & Burros: Historic Route 66 Tour from Laughlin, Grand Canyon West Skywalk Small-Group Day Tour from Laughlin, NV, Glamping at Grand Canyon Glamping Resort. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kingman?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Kingman, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kingman?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
