We took a salsa lesson...
We took a salsa lesson package and it was fantastic! My husband and I are total beginners but we learned the basics so we could join in a local outdoor dance fiesta with our instructor. Jeanne offered to take us to a location with a real salsa band! The history of salsa she shared during our lesson was very interesting too - and lots of tidbits of information about the local area too. Highly recommend!

Learning salsa with Jeanne was an absolute joy from start to finish. She has a gift of making something feel both approachable and exhilarating at the same time. Her instruction is clear, patient, and confidence-building, with just the right balance of technical guidance and infectious enthusiasm. Jeanne creates a welcoming, supportive environment where you feel encouraged to try, laugh, mess up, and try again, without ever feeling self-conscious. She breaks movements down in a way that makes them click, and her love for salsa is unmistakable and completely contagious. We walked away not just with new steps, but with a genuine sense of accomplishment and a bigger love for the dance. Jeanne is an incredible instructor and an even better energy to learn from.

Salsa for any level!
This Salsa and Latin Rhythms tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Jeanne was absolutely amazing — warm, friendly, and so knowledgeable about salsa’s history and culture. She really took the time to make the experience special for us. What made it even better was seeing my husband — who’s not much of a dancer — completely let his guard down and join in. Jeanne’s relaxed, patient teaching style made him feel comfortable, and by the end, he was having a blast dancing with me! We started with a fun, easy-going class in a beautiful, quiet park, then moved to a local outdoor dance night where we practiced some of our steps with a friendly crowd. The night wrapped up at a lively salsa bar, where we listened to great Cuban music all night!. You don’t need to be an expert — just bring your energy and a smile. I highly recommend this experience, especially with Jeanne leading the way. It was an unforgettable, joyful night that I’ll always cherish!
