What you get

    About this experience

One of the most beautiful monuments in our city, considered the finest example of Baroque architecture in Seville and also the pinnacle of Baroque art in Europe. Because it's not located in the most well-known historic center, it's perhaps the least appreciated, and yet, despite its simplicity compared to the majestic Cathedral and the impressive Alcázar, it is in no way inferior to either of them in terms of architectural merit. An aura of mystery and mysticism is as much a part of this Baroque marvel as its sculptures, architecture, and history.

An unknown and hidden gem that will impress you

We knew of its existence and knew it online, but after seeing the monumental set, the impression made exceeded the expectations we had. We invite you to come closer, if you are interested in European baroque. It is on Calle San Luis very close to the Basilica of Macarena.

    visit

That it is a very unknown monument and that the Isabel guide is great. We really liked your explanation. In addition, the Council has done very well exhibiting paintings and works unknown until now, at least by the general public.

    Fantastic Church to visit absolutely.

Fantastic church on the street of the same name. Saint Louis and Blanche of Castile share the same royal lineage, and with nobles from Normandy (Perche). San Luis is an alternative street within the old town, very close to the Plaza de la Alameda. San Luis de los Franceses is part of the church complex that borders the same street: La Macarena, San Luis de los Franceses, Santa Marina, San Marco, Santa Isabel etc

    Great looking church

Iglesia De San Luis De Los Franceses ( Church Of Saint Louis Of France ) was a wonderful looking church my twin brother and I chanced upon as we were pub hopping around the wonderful Barrio De Macarena and what a great find. This church was constructed between 1699-1731 and built from designs from architect Leonardo De Figueroa ,a wonderful example of Baroque style architecture, interior is awesome, so many beautiful features to behold, externally it's a stunning building, very photogenic, if you're walking down Calle San Luis it's most definitely well worth checking out.

Response from the operator: The pleasure was all mine. Thanks for your interest and your generosity :)

    Jewel of the Spanish Baroque

Very rich array of frescoes, for one of the most typical buildings of Spanish Baroque. There is an entrance fee, but it's worth it!

Saint Luis de los franceses Church: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Saint Luis de los franceses Church cost?

    +

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Saint Luis de los franceses Church take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Saint Luis de los franceses Church worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Saint Luis de los franceses Church?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Saint Luis de los franceses Church suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Saint Luis de los franceses Church?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Saint Luis de los franceses Church start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
