A great way to learn about Spanish traditions while enjoying authentic flavors.

A fantastic experience combining food, culture, and stunning views of Seville! The rooftop setting was beautiful, the local wines and appetizers were delicious, and watching the paella and sangria preparation was a highlight.

    Such a lovely experience....

Such a lovely experience. Extremely accommodating to all my dietary requirements. Note that you don’t actually cook yourself but nevertheless was very involved. Views were incredible of the city but the building was a bit difficult to locate. Surprise dessert was delicious!! Definitely recommend

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an excellent rating. We really your business. Please let us know what we can do for you in the future. Follow us on social media @laterrazadelcristina to keep in touch!

    Dreadful!!

Don’t book this experience! I couldn’t leave no stars so 1 is wat they get and that’s being kind considering the situation, I didn’t even get to experience it, the building is insanely hard to find and when I eventually did locate it with the help of lovely locals I couldn’t enter the building, the host didn’t answer my calls nor respond to my texts and so I had to leave after waiting around to try and get in - oh and they won’t refund me either so they essentially took my money and denied me entry - to say I’m disappointed is an understatement, shame on the host and Viator for such dreadful service!

Response from the operator: We are very sorry to read this review, but we feel it is important to clarify the facts for the sake of transparency to all future guests. First of all, the meeting point, start time, and our late-arrival policy are clearly indicated in every guest’s voucher and in all pre-arrival communication. As with all our experiences, our team was present on time and the activity started as scheduled. Unfortunately, in this case the guest did not arrive at the meeting point at the correct time. When we noticed she had not checked in, we attempted to contact her through the phone number provided. We sent messages and made calls, as we routinely do whenever a guest is late or appears lost. Unfortunately, no contact was made before the experience began, and by the time she arrived it was already too late to join the session. In her own written statement to the platform, the guest explained that she was delayed because she stumbled on her new dress, went home to change clothes and shoes, and therefore only tried to reach the location well past the scheduled start time. We completely understand that unexpected situations can happen, but it is each guest’s responsibility to plan accordingly and to inform us immediately if they are delayed. In fact, on the few occasions when other guests have called us to notify us of a delay, we have always done our best to assist them. The guest has since accused us very aggressively of “stealing” and even demanded private security footage. Please note that, under EU privacy regulations, such material can only be shared with the platform or with competent authorities if officially requested, never directly with customers. We have already provided Viator with all relevant information and evidence. We must emphasize that we are not “denying access” or “taking money unfairly.” We simply apply the same cancellation and no-show policies that are standard across the industry and that every customer agrees to at the time of booking through Viator. Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable. In this case, the guest’s own written words confirm she arrived late due to personal reasons, which is outside our responsibility. We truly regret that she feels disappointed, but we also have a responsibility to the rest of our guests, who arrived on time and enjoyed the experience as planned. We always work hard to offer a high-quality, friendly, and professional service, and hundreds of positive reviews reflect that commitment. To future guests reading this: please rest assured that we take hospitality and communication very seriously. If you ever face difficulties, please contact us immediately — we are always happy to help if we are informed in time.

    Unfortunate

On our first day in Spain I planned this cooking class. We arrived at 12:00 for our class and no one was there. It was an extremely hot day and after several messages (while sitting outside) to class and Viator we found out the instructor had us coming in the evening; however, all our documents (3) had noon or 12:00. Viator at first refused to give me a refund but when I sent them all my documents they agreed there was a mistake. We asked the teacher if we could come the following day but when we didn't hear back we just cancelled the class and booked a different cooking class with Expedia. I will not use Viator again. This made our first day in Spain an unpleasant beginning.

Response from the operator: Hi Ceri, as you mentioned, the problem was from Viator and not from us. We received the voucher for you coming at 17:30h... Please, remove the review since it is not fair that due an issue coming from the platform and not from us, the supplier of the activity. Thanks

Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 119 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience?

    +

Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sangria Tasting & Paella Showcooking Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
