Worth the money
I really enjoyed this trip. Our driver was attentive and offered us conversation and music whilst in the car. We had a great day and got to take as many stops as needed for bathroom and stretching the legs. Our driver even went out of his way to help find me a specific rest stop that I was wanting to utilize because they had the ice cream I've been hunting for and just great vibes. *Applegreen off of exit 17* We started with Blarney castle and it was such a beautiful day. Be sure not to miss the poison garden behind the castle. Rock of Cashel is my favorite place. The view outside overlooking the greenery and animals is a spiritual experience for me personally. The shops nearby are full of treasures as well. Wonderful day for this couple. 10/10 worth the money. Book this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words. You were both a joy to tour with, and it was a real pleasure spending the day together. I’m delighted you enjoyed the stops (and that we tracked down that elusive ice cream at Applegreen! 🍦). Hearing that the Rock of Cashel was a special experience for you makes me very happy. I’m glad the day was everything you hoped for, and I wish you both many more wonderful travels.

Fun times at Blarney Castle
This was an excellent trip/tour. Zac was so great and knowledgeable. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and places to see on the rest of our trip which so so helps. It was great having a private car for the long drive from Dublin. Highly recommend this tour.

A little disappointed…
Our driver was efficient and nice, but just a driver. We were disappointed that he did not offer a lot of information throughout the day.

Best way to Experience Rock of Cashel!
We loved having a Private Tour for the day! We were able to spend all the time we wanted at each site without feeling rushed or crowded! Four of us share a Mercedes Van in full comfort while the drivere shared wonderful history and lore about these three castles! We saw Rock of Cashel and the neighboring abbey, Blarney Castle (kissed the stone, but it's a long wait - took over an hour in line), and then Cahir. Pick-u was at our hotel and drop off was in Temple Bar at our request. I can't imagine a better day! Well worth the cost!!!
Response from the operator: It was a pleasure to tour your group. Thank you for your kind review.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rock Of Cashel And Blarney Castle Private Chauffeur Full Day Sightseeing Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
