Magic hands healing
The women who worked on our group were excellent in helping all of our kinks out and also giving us an herbal recipe for a deep chest cough. I would recommend then and hope to make it back soon.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! 🤍 We’re truly happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and that our team could help you feel better. It means a lot to us that you appreciated the personalized care — we always try to go beyond just the massage and support each guest’s well-being in a more holistic way. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

absolutely amazing!
An Experience We’ll Never Forget My husband and I will always remember our massage at Monteverde Massage Center. The two amazing women who worked on us were so skilled, so kind — we felt completely cared for, body and soul. Lying in that dome, with the sounds of nature all around us, felt like stepping out of time. If you’re anywhere near Monteverde, don’t miss this. It’s pure magic.

Three out of five.
Beautiful location in a geodesic dome. Overall experience was a 3 out of 5. When I had messaged, I had asked if they did sports massage or myofascial release. It sounded like they did. The masseuse did not seem to know what I was talking about when I got there. I really did not want an oily massage and she did not offer me a way to clean off some of the coconut butter when we were done. The therapists that I see in the states work very effectively on me without oil. She also made a very personal comment about a body part that is slightly unusual. Overall, not the best experience.

Spectacular experience
I get a lot of massages and this was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Dinia and Wendy gave me and my wife incredible massages, and the location and ambience were very relaxing.
Response from the operator: Wao muchas gracias. Muy agradecidas de recibirlos! Nos encanta saber que la experiencia fue excelente. Cuando quieren volver, serán bienvenidos. Abrazos y Pura Vida.

Amazing massage, amazing location
The two massage therapists we had, Dania and Yolanda, provided some of the best massages we have experienced as a group (4ppl total). We each did a massage + mini facial and it was amazing. They are very skilled massage therapists, and booking with them was easy through WhatsApp. I highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for a best in class massage from lovey people in Monteverde

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Relaxing time: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puntarenas.
How much does Relaxing time cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puntarenas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Relaxing time take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puntarenas is not rushed.
Is Relaxing time worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puntarenas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Relaxing time?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Relaxing time suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Relaxing time?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puntarenas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puntarenas and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Relaxing time start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puntarenas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Puntarenas?
+
On Outty we rank every Puntarenas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tortuga Island Tour with Costa Cat, 3 Hour ATV Medium Waterfall Tour (Swimmable Pool), Turtle Island, from Puntarenas, snorkeling and lunch included!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Puntarenas?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Puntarenas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Relaxing time?
+
Included: Use of towels; All Fees and Taxes; and Parking. Not included: Private transportation; and Brunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Relaxing time?
+
From the Bon Appetit restaurant 600 meters to the Santa Elena Reserve Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Relaxing time offered in?
+
It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Relaxing time?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Relaxing time wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Wheelchair accessible; Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller; Specialized infant seats are available; and Transportation options are wheelchair accessible. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to Relaxing time if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Puntarenas. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
