An amazing tour!
We had a fantastic guided tour at the Pirámides de Güímar. Our guide, Michael, was excellent, very knowledgeable and incredibly engaging in the way he explained the history of the pyramids and the surrounding cultural context. He made the tour both informative and enjoyable, always happy to answer our questions. They have also an interesting botanical garden. A wonderful experience overall, and definitely a sustainable activity to enjoy while exploring Tenerife. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us. If you like history Then This is truly for you. I guess it could be a bit boring if not but there is audioguide so you dont have to read. I liked it a lot and of course there is the pyramides itself.

Sorry to have missed out!
We rented a car for our trip and headed out to see some pyramids! We took our 3 your old and he was all hot and bothered half way round so we didn’t see a lot of it but what we did see was fab! There’s loads of history there and the actual structures themselves are amazing to see! I’ve never seen any other pyramids before so it was a great experience. We had a wonder around the poison garden and that was quite interesting. There was a hydrangea there which was peculiar to see. There’s little museum bits to walk through and they came in handy with the heat and the sun as a good place to get out of it for a little bit. Pretty cute cafe next door. Pretty cheap and looked like they did some lovely food however we just stopped for drinks. Will definitely come back when our little one is older.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We hope you visit us again in the future. Meanwhile, remember that you can keep updated on all our news if you follow us on social media.

Look through the fence and save yourself some money
We were both looking forward to seeing the Piramides, unfortunately our experience didn't match our expectation. Lots of supposition and what could have been..... It's a lovely garden and some of the plants are really interesting. (Never seen cochineal mites before) Didn't appreciate that side of it. Honestly though, save yourself the entrance money and look though the fence. You can't get up close to the pyramids anyway. Lots of hens, cockerels and chicks in the area too.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your opinion, although we are sorry to read that you were disappointed. We will continue working to improve our exhibits and content as we believe we have much more to offer than what one can see from the outside. 65,000 square meters of exhibitions, stories and emotions are very difficult to convey at a glance.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pyramids of Güímar Basic Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
